Unilever’s Knorr brand has introduced a new instant food featuring boiled rice with soup. This innovation is particularly interesting because unlike porridge, consumers can taste the texture of boiled Jasmine rice in delectable soup as well as added meat. The variants include Pork Flavored Shiitake Mushroom Soup, Pad Char Squid Flavour and Salmon Seaweed Flavor.
The instant meal, which comes in sachet and in a cup, is low in fat and low in cholesterol, making it ideal as a meal or an in-between meal snack.
