The First SkyDeli by Gourmet Primo – New Concept Shop on the BTS Station Opening on 7 January 2021

Bangkok–6 Jan 2020 -Bangkok Air Catering

Skydeli by Gourmet Primo is based on the idea of an airline in-flight meal box adapted for urban commuters on-the-go. It builds on the lengthy track record in airline catering of Gourmet Primo’s parent company, Bangkok Air Catering.

Skydeli by Gourmet Primo will open its first outlet at BTS Sala Daeng Station in Bangkok on 7th January 2021. With the slogan “Take a journey to deli-delights”, Sky Deli grab-and-go shop will be situated close to consumers’ workplaces and Skytrain stations, catering to the urban lifestyle.

The company promises gourmet airline food at ground level, and the menu has a combo meal concept.   Salad, main dish, dessert and drink are packed in one box, packaged conveniently for grab-and-go. Skydeli celebrates its first outlet opening at BTS Sala Daeng with special offers throughout January 2021 (2564):
Offer 1: The combo set is available at a special price for a set of 64 baht to the first 25 customers (normal price range from 149 -199 baht). This offer is only valid on 7th January 2021.
Offer 2: 20% off on combo set for skydeli’s facebook fanpage

Offer 3: Free delivery for Silom, Sathorn and Surawong areas when ordering combo set. Skydeli by Gourmet PrimoTake a journey to deli-delights

We are seeing airline companies and in-flight meal providers increasingly pivoting towards end-consumers by setting up a restaurant eg AirAsia’s Santan or the latest by Bangkok Air’s Skydeli by Gourmet Primo as well as collaborating with retailers with private label meals eg Carrefour Taiwan. Would this pivot become permanent or is just a temporary measure to ride through the storm?
