Burger King Thailand is celebrating Valentine’s Day with its latest “Black and Pink Burgers“. Black Double Grilled Onion Burger is for the singles and Pink Salmon Burger is for the lovers.

Burger Thailand, the authorised operator of Burger King in Thailand, plans to open 5-10 new outlets in 2021, an increase from 3 in 2020. At the end of 2020, there were 114 Burger King outlets in Thailand.
According to Tanawat Damnernthong, the company’s general manager, Burger King experienced a double-digit decline in revenue but hopes to return to the pre-crisis revenue of THB 2 billion achieved in 2019 in 2021, reported Bangkok Post.
In 2020, delivery and dine-in each contributed 25% towards revenue with the bulk of the income 50% coming from takeaways. As a contrast, takeaways accounted for 35% of revenue in 2019, delivery at 15% and dine-in at 50%.
Burger King has opened Asia’s first concept store at the Shell service station on Kanchanaphisek Road in Nonthaburi featuring drive-through. The fast food operator is also revamping its image and logo to get closer to the younger generation.
