Boutique Fairs Singapore Shut Down Online EBoutiques Platform, Explores Physical Events in Different Format

Singapore, 16 February 2021 – Boutique Fairs Singapore, known for their bi-annual shopping events at the F1 Pit Building, announces the closure of its eBoutiques e-commerce platform. The eBoutiques site (https://shop.boutiquefairs.com.sg/) will cease operations on 28 February 2021, with 19 February as the last day for shoppers to place orders.

Following the continued postponement and eventual cancellation of Boutique Fairs’ Spring / Summer 2020 event (originally scheduled for March), the team came up with the idea for eBoutiques as a 24/7 online platform to allow shoppers to continue engaging with their favourite Singapore brands and designers. eBoutiques launched in September 2020 as an avenue to bring the community together to participate in a design-led online marketplace with a curated collection of items ranging from women’s, men’s and kid’s fashion to home décor and lifestyle, food and beverage, beauty and more.

Due to the challenging circumstances of 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, Boutique Fairs Singapore will be ceasing its e-commerce platform and shift its focus to introducing a new format for the physical shopping events when it is safe to do so. While the Spring / Summer 2021 Edition of Boutiques at the Pit Building will not proceed due to current local restrictions on events, Boutique Fairs is working with the relevant authorities to explore alternative formats for smaller, more frequent live events in the future to bring the core of the Boutique Fairs experience in a safe and secure environment.
