Following the launch of NESTLÉ OMEGA GOLD with Triple Action in Malaysia in February 2025, Nestlé Malaysia has announced the introduction of the UHT format in September 2026. The UHT version was developed to provide healthier beverage options for busy, working, and on‑the‑go adults.
NESTLÉ OMEGA GOLD with Triple Action is a specialized adult milk powder designed for individuals aged 50 and above to help manage the “3‑Highs” — high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar.
Both the powder and UHT formats contain ActiCol®, delivering 1.2 g of plant sterols with two servings a day to help lower cholesterol. They also provide potassium to help maintain normal blood pressure and inulin to support good blood glucose control. In addition, NESTLÉ OMEGA GOLD fulfills 100% of daily calcium requirements and is high in protein to support strong bones and aid in building and repairing muscle tissue.
In conjunction with World Heart Month and in support of the World Heart Federation’s 2026 theme, “Don’t Miss A Beat,” Nestlé Omega Plus is once again partnering with longstanding collaborators Yayasan Jantung Malaysia (YJM) and Institut Jantung Negara Foundation (IJNF) to make heart‑health awareness and screening more accessible to young Malaysians.
Dr Fa’iz Mashood, Clinical Fellow in Cardiology, Institut Jantung Negara, said, “The National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS) 2023 findings highlight a concerning gap in awareness among young Malaysians with an estimated 95% of raised cholesterol cases, 80% of hypertension cases and 84% of diabetes cases remain undiagnosed (1). The survey also found that two in five Malaysian adults had not undergone health screening in the past year, often because they did not experience any symptoms.”
As part of this year’s efforts:
- 10,000 health screenings alongside heart-health education will be provided to encourage young Malaysians to understand their risks and take preventive action earlier
- Nestlé® Omega Plus will continue its RM100,000 annual contribution each to YJM and IJNF to support heart-health outreach, education and screening
- The Nestlé Omega Plus Walk A Million Miles 2026 virtual challenge will run from 1 September to 31 October, complemented by a physical walk on 19 September in Putrajaya
