The Philippine-based social enterprise company GenerationHope Inc, the company behind Hope in a Bottle purified bottled water, has unveiled the Philippines’ first-ever carton-packaged water at the end of 2018. Known as Hope in a Box, the packaged water in carton offers consumers with an alternative to plastic, which will contribute to the reduction in the plastic footprint.

Similar to Hope in a Bottle, 100% profit from the sale of Hope in a Box purified water will go towards the building of public school classrooms across the Philippines.

Hope in a Box is available at The Coffee Bean & Teal Leaf and is a collaboration with Tetra Pak. Hope in a Box is packed in Tetra Prisma Aseptic for improved portability.

The launch of Hope in a Box could encourage other packaged water makers to start considering the use of more eco-friendly carton packaging as the voice against plastic waste grows louder each day.
