Ajinomoto Thailand is introducing aminoVITAL Shot, an amino-acid energy jelly containing green tea powder and flavoured with coconut and jasmine. The combination brings green tea into a sports nutrition format, while coconut and jasmine provide a more distinctive flavour profile than the fruit-led flavours commonly associated with energy gels.
The new portable gel provides 120kcal of energy per 45g pouch and 1,200mg of amino acids/BCAA, alongside magnesium, sodium, potassium and calcium. Existing Red Shot products are positioned for consumption around endurance activities such as running and cycling, making the compact format suitable for energy replenishment on the move.
