Grand Opening At Sunway Pyramid With Special Appearance By Sam CN
KUALA LUMPUR, 3 December 2025 – Internationally renowned cheesecake brand KUMO KUMO will make its Malaysian debut this Saturday with the grand opening of its first-ever outlet at Sunway Pyramid, bringing its signature soft, cloud-like cheesecakes and playful dessert experience to local fans.
With a strong presence in Thailand, China, and Australia, KUMO KUMO has built a loyal following for its fluffy, “kumo” (cloud)-light cheesecakes and indulgent ice cream. The Sunway Pyramid outlet marks the brand’s first step into Malaysia, with more locations planned as it expands nationwide.
To mark this milestone, KUMO KUMO has invited Malaysian singer Sam CN, one-half of the popular duo FS (Fuying & Sam), as its “One-Day Store Manager” for the launch event this Saturday. Recently nominated for TC Candler’s “The 100 Most Handsome Faces 2025”, Sam stands as one of Malaysia’s representatives on this year’s list, recognised for his on-screen charm and rising international profile.
During the event, Sam will put on the KUMO KUMO uniform, interact with fans, and personally participate in key store activities.
- Performs live hot stamping on freshly baked cheesecakes with a limited-edition Sunway Pyramid grand opening stamp
- Takes part in a mini sharing session about his first impressions of KUMO KUMO Malaysia, his love for Japanese-style cheesecakes, and his experience as One-Day Store Manager
There will also be a fan interaction activity for the first 100 visitors to receive limited-edition merchandise (first-come, first-served).
