In August, McDonald’s is embracing national pride by unveiling special creations tailored to the tastes of its local markets.
In Indonesia, the campaign Warisan Rasa Indonesia brings familiar flavours to life in new ways. The iconic Ayam Krispy McD meets the bold spices of Kari Medan, delivering a savoury, richly seasoned bite that’s irresistible from the very first crunch. The celebration continues with sweet indulgences such as the McFlurry Pisang Ijo, inspired by the beloved South Sulawesi dessert, and Es Kopi Klepon, a nod to the traditional pandan‑infused treat. Together, these offerings invite Indonesians to enjoy #IniRasaKita — flavours that feel close to home.
Meanwhile, in Malaysia, McDonald’s is marking Merdeka Month with festive soft‑serve creations. The Kon Gemilang Corn Sundae Cone (from RM3.10) features a rich corn flavour, a vibrant red cone, and a Jalur Gemilang‑themed sleeve that embodies the spirit of independence. Joining the lineup is the Cendol Gula Melaka Deluxe Sundae, launched in late July, which blends traditional Malaysian dessert notes into a refreshing treat. For an extra indulgence, customers can add a Chocotop for the perfect chocolate crunch.
