30 July 2025 – Pos Malaysia Berhad (“Pos Malaysia” or “The Company”), the national post and parcel service provider, unveils its third instalment of the roses stamp collection following the earlier releases in 2003 and 2014.
The new series features five stamps highlighting Malaysian-grown rose varieties: ‘France Red’ and ‘Awake’ (RM1.00 each, se-tenant), ‘Catalina’ and ‘Maria Shriver’ (90 sen each, se-tenant), plus the ‘Double Delight’ (RM5.00) featured on the Miniature Sheet. Interestingly, all stamps, including the Miniature Sheet are scented with a subtle rose fragrance.
The complete collection of Roses Series 3, priced at RM58.80, includes two sheets of se-tenant stamps, one Miniature Sheet, First Day Covers (with stamps and Miniature Sheet each with special cancellation), and a collector’s folder.
The Roses Series 3 collection will be available for purchase starting 30 July 2025 at 90 Philatelic Bureaus, including 13 General Post Offices across Malaysia nationwide, and online at https://shop.pos.com.my.
To mark the launch, Pos Malaysia is rolling out several engaging promotions. For one month, 20 selected Post Offices will greet walk-in customers with the gentle scent of roses, thanks to instore aroma diffusers. There will also be a postcard giveaway available at the 90 Philatelic Bureaus. For every RM30 spent on the Roses Series 3 products, customers will receive a free floral-themed postcard, while stocks last. The postcards, available in three exclusive designs, can also be bought separately at RM2.50 each. In addition to postcard giveaway, customers will also receive a RM20 off promo code for purchases at BloomThis website (bloomthis.co) with a minimum spend of RM180.
Pos Malaysia has also partnered with premium online florist, BloomThis and is offering limited complimentary roses to customers at selected Post Offices during the first three days of launch namely General Post Office (GPO) Kuala Lumpur, Stamp & Philately Counter (also located at GPO Kuala Lumpur, Level 1), GPO Johor Bahru (30 July, 1 and 2 August) , GPO Penang (KOMTAR), Bukit Mertajam Post Office and Batu Pahat Post Office (30 July, 3 and 4 August). Meanwhile, customers at the Kelana Jaya Post Office will be entitled to a special floral giveaway from 2KM Florist and a postcard. Both promotions will run while stocks last.
