New Footwear Collection Pairs Holistic Design Language with Performance Innovation

Kuala Lumpur, 23 July 2025 – Under Armour introduces Halo, a footwear collection that marks a bold new chapter in the brand’s performance innovation and design evolution. Built for the everyday athlete, Halo introduces a holistic design language where symmetry, balance, and harmony are at the core of every stride.

At the heart of the collection is a bold design shift, where Under Armour’s iconic double-arch logo is now embedded directly into the structure of the shoe, serving as both a visual signature and a functional element that delivers balance, stability, and support. This architectural integration reflects a more unified design philosophy, where form and function are in perfect alignment. Complementing this is UA’s industry-leading HOVR technologies, which provides exceptional energy return and impact absorption, ensuring every stride feels powerful, responsive, and grounded.

The Halo collection features three distinct models, each engineered for a specific purpose. The Halo Racer and Halo Runner are designed for running, while the Halo Trainer is built for training.

Halo represents a strategic milestone for Under Armour, setting the tone for the future of its footwear. With this launch, the brand signals a shift toward a more unified and expressive design philosophy, and one that empowers athletes to feel locked in, fired up, and capable of anything.

Launch of UA Halo

On July 19, 2025, to celebrate the launch of the UA Halo, Under Armour hosted a 5-kilometer community run starting from REX KL. Guests participating in the run were spotted wearing the full Under Armour Halo range, including UA ambassador and actor Alif Muhaimin, content creators Anson Yew, Iman Ali, Newwwian, Li Ying, Ruo Min, and Nurul Najiha in the UA Halo Racer. After the run, the community headed over to REX KL for an after-run party that doubled as the official UA Halo launch. Guests experienced a visual mapping display showcasing popular running routes suitable for the UA Halo.

To celebrate the launch of the UA Halo, a shoe designed for everyday runners, Under Armour introduced the “I Run but I’m Not a Runner” series. This campaign highlights how running fits into diverse lifestyles, featuring four unconventional runners: Aisyah Zakir, a spin instructor; Ahmad Luqman, a motorcycle enthusiast; Herrmann, co-founder of the Backyard Running Association; and Najmi Ariffin, a visual artist who draws inspiration from running. Each of them demonstrates that the UA Halo is made for everyone who runs on their own terms. At the after-run party, guests explored the Running Lab to test out the UA Halo collection, snapped photos at a futuristic-themed photo corner with their UA Halos, and danced to energetic beats spun by DJ Ziqq. The event also featured a shuttle race challenge, where the final winner walked away with a pair of UA Halo Runners worth RM599. Another pair was awarded to a lucky guest through the grand prize lucky draw, also valued at RM599.
