New brands, exciting flavours

[Left to Right] Shangri-La Singapore X Udders Snowskin Mooncakes and Kid’s Mooncake Brick Set and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore Assorted Baked Mooncakes

Indulge in time-honoured flavours and modern creations from some of Singapore’s most renowned hotels, some of whom will be presenting their offerings at the TANGS Mid-Autumn Fair at NEX for the first time.

Tradition takes a playful turn with Shangri-La Singapore’s selection. A new collaboration with Udders Ice Cream brings two exclusive snowskin mooncakes inspired by nostalgic treats. The mochi-textured Muah Chee, and the fragrant Chendol housed in a cute two-tiered tin that can also serve as a lunch box, and accompanied by an insulated bag and matching collectible charms ($96). The little ones aren’t left out of the fun either: The adorable Kid’s Mooncake Brick Set ($75) allows the young (or young at heart) to build their own storage box which can house the four mini chocolate mooncakes filled with chocolate chips or a glowing lantern.

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore presents new flavours such as the baked Lychee Oolong White Lotus Seed Paste, Dried Lychee and Macadamia Nuts, and the Mini Snowskin Irish Cream Coffee Liqueur. Perfect for gifting, the mooncakes are presented in an exquisite box inspired by the hotel’s iconic octagonal windows, and can be repurposed as an “Eight Treasures Box” or a Tray of Togetherness to contain sweet treats and goodies during the Chinese New Year. A thoughtful gift that carries the joy of reunion, from one festive season to the next.

[Left to Right] East Ocean Imperial Mooncake with Six Egg Yolks and Mini Snowskin Mooncakes, Comvita Manuka Mooncakes

East Ocean Teochew Restaurant, a stalwart in Singapore’s dining scene since 1992, offers both classic mooncakes as well as Teochew-style ones. While most of us are familiar with the Cantonese variety, Teochew mooncakes are rounder and have a crisp and flaky outer shell that’s filled with yam paste. Crafted fresh daily with only the finest ingredients and free from preservatives, East Ocean’s mooncakes represent heritage and quality. From the timeless Teochew Crispy Yam, to the exclusive Imperial Six Egg Yolks Mooncake, and the well-loved Snow Skin Mooncakes, they bring together the true spirit of tradition and taste.

New Zealand brand Comvita, the World’s No. 1 UMF™ Manuka honey producer, brings a wellness-focused twist to their Mid-Autumn sets. Infused with UMF™ 5+ Manuka Honey for a festive treat, it’s low in sugar and yet uniquely delicious.

Their limited-edition Manuka Mooncakes will be paired with bundles from their Natural Wellness Drinks Collection: With every purchase of a 4 piece mooncake collection ($95)  which boasts flavours like Mānuka Matcha with Cranberry and Mānuka Osmanthus & Goji Berries. Shoppers will receive a Luxurious Set of Utensils, a Box of Comvita Night Rejuvenating Manuka Honey Drinks and a box of Comvita Probiotic Manuka Honey, a luxurious duo perfect for winding down after a night of feasting with family and friends.
