A powerful movement that connects generations through family bonding, active lifestyles and good nutritious starts
Putrajaya, 12 July 2026 – Rallying a total of 75,000 participants across Sabah, Terengganu, Sarawak, Pahang, Kelantan and Putrajaya, MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day 2026 concluded its nationwide journey with a vibrant Grand Finale in Putrajaya. Approximately 25,000 participants came together at Dataran Putrajaya for the grand finale to celebrate active lifestyles, family bonding and the power of community through sports.

YB Tuan Mordi anak Bimol, Deputy Minister of Youth & Sports said, “Sports play an important role in shaping the character, confidence and resilience of our young generation. Events like MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day Putrajaya provide a meaningful platform to encourage youths and families to embrace an active lifestyle while building a stronger appreciation for sports and physical activity. I am encouraged to see initiatives that bring communities together and inspire young Malaysians to stay active, healthy and engaged. With the support of partners like MILO®, we hope to continue nurturing a generation of youths who are passionate about sports, value teamwork and make active living a part of their everyday lives.”
This reflects a shared commitment between the public and private sectors to encourage healthier lifestyles, inspire youth participation in sports, strengthen family bonds and build more connected communities for the future.
Juan Aranols, Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, also added, “As we celebrate the grand finale of MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day 2026 in Putrajaya, it’s wonderful to see thousands of Malaysians coming together for healthier, more active lifestyles. Since 2013, we have championed this initiative because we believe that healthy habits, from just staying active to participating in sports, help shape confident and resilient individuals. What I found especially inspiring today was speaking to families who told me they would always return year after year, and seeing parents, children and even grandparents taking part side by side. Moments like these remind us that healthy habits are not built overnight, but through the everyday choices families make together. We are grateful for the Government’s continued support in advancing this shared vision for sports and wellness in Malaysia.”
Beyond the nationwide runs, the event also reinforced how MILO® has become more than just a breakfast beverage – it is part of cherished family moments and a legacy that connects generations.
35 Family and Friends Enjoying Active Lifestyle Together
Tan Li Yuet, 24, who joined the MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day for the fourth time with 35 family members and friends, said, “I have been enjoying MILO® ️since I was young and I still remember joining MILO® ️ runs with my mother when I was a child. Those experiences were truly memorable and had inspired me to continue being part of this event over the years. This year, I came together with 35 friends and family members, making the experience even more meaningful as we stayed active and created memories together.
Continually enjoyed as part of a nutritious breakfast routine, MILO® remains a trusted choice that provides Malaysians with the energy to start their day and stay active. She added, “For me, MILO® is more than just a drink, it represents the energy, fun and shared moments that bring people together.”

We chose to dress up because we wanted to bring more fun and happiness just like how MILO® has always been part of many joyful moments for Malaysians.
“This is our second time joining the MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day. Last year we came dressed with a different outfit theme and we had so much fun that we are now already looking forward to joining this fun run again next year with a more creative outfit theme! For us, the most meaningful part is being able to share laughter, stay active and inspire others to enjoy the experience together.”
A Dinosaur on the Run: Bringing Roars of Fun at MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day

Joyce Teoh, 33, who travelled all the way from Penang with a group of friends said, “I purposely travelled all the way from Penang to join the MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day because I wanted to be part of this fun and meaningful experience with my friends. MILO® has always been my favourite drink since I was a child and it brings back nostalgic memories for me. To pay tribute to MILO®, I decided to wear a dinosaur outfit to bring more creativity, fun and positive energy to this amazing event. Since this is a fun run, I believe everyone should enjoy the journey and create happy memories along the way – while staying active! I hope to bring smiles to the people around me especially the children and inspire them to enjoy running and stay active always.”
Different Backgrounds, One United Mission – Young Teachers Inspiring Healthier Young Generations

Four young educators from diverse backgrounds returned to join their second consecutive MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day, united by a shared passion to inspire the next generation to embrace healthier lifestyles. One of the runners, Dhama Dharishini, 28 shared,
“Although we come from different backgrounds, we’re united by a common goal to inspire the next generation to lead healthier, more active lives. As teachers, we believe our role extends beyond the classroom. Students are often inspired by what they see us do, so we want to set a positive example by embracing an active lifestyle and making nutritious breakfasts part of our daily routine. We appreciate MILO® for bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds through an event that celebrates health, community and togetherness. We hope more children and young Malaysians will discover that healthy living starts with simple habits like eating a nutritious breakfast and staying active,” said Dhama who joined the run with fellow educators Ronald Joseph Pillai, 27; Narveen Kaur Dhillon, 27 and Syifa’ Adawiyah, 26.
