Thai coffee chain Pacamara has partnered with Benefitt High Protein to launch two protein-enriched coffee beverages, reflecting the growing integration of functional nutrition especially protein into foodservice drinks.
The limited-edition range includes Berry Power-Up, a coffee smoothie combining strawberry, raspberry, pistachio cream cheese and honey with Pacamara’s house blend coffee, delivering 14g of milk protein. The second offering, Choco Fuel Dirty, blends dirty coffee with Benefitt High Protein Chocolate, cocoa, honey and a ristretto shot, providing 9g of milk protein.
The collaboration highlights how protein is increasingly moving beyond traditional sports nutrition formats and into everyday café occasions, creating new opportunities for consumers to incorporate protein into their daily routines. It also provides high-protein brands with a valuable foodservice platform to showcase their products in familiar, accessible formats.
The launch reflects a broader trend across Southeast Asia, where foodservice operators are adding protein to mainstream beverages to meet rising consumer interest in satiety, energy and overall wellness. Through such partnerships, cafés can position drinks as both an enjoyable indulgence and a convenient functional offering, while helping nutrition brands extend their reach beyond retail shelves and into everyday consumption occasions.
