Scotch collaborates with fine dining premise Cross to promote bird’s nest among the young

Bird nest drink maker Scotch Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has recently collaborated with Cross, a popular contemporary Chinese cuisine fine dining restaurant that is often booked out months ahead. For April 2024 and May 2024, Cross will create dishes featuring Scotch’s premium bird’s nest products.

The objective is to expand the consumer base for bird’s nest, which is currently more for gift giving and for the elderly. Bird’s nest producers need to future-proof the category by promoting bird’s nest consumption among the younger generation.

According to the company, 90% of its revenue comes from the mass market and 10% from the mid-to premium segment. Scotch has 40% of Thailand’s overall bird’s nest market, with the total market in 2023 valued at THB 3 billion, up by 2%. 

To reach out to more users, Scotch has also recently launched Beauti Shot with 5,000mg of collagen. This RTD dietary supplement is mixed with malva nut.

Thai President Foods Plc has unveiled its latest two instant noodles for the Thai market under the Oriental Kitchen range. Bobbi is the new cider vinegar sparkling drink in Thailand

Bobbi is a new range of cider vinegar sparkling beverages in Thailand that taps into the benefits of cider vinegar. Consumer interest in the benefits of fermentation has contributed to the rising popularity of fermented drinks. Cider vinegar is one ingredient known to help with weight management, blood sugar control and digestive system improvement. 

This sparkling drink contains prebiotics (inulin) vitamins A, B3, B6, B12 and C. The sugar- and calorie-firee beverage comes in five interesting flavours:

Speaking at the campaign launch, Dr. Noormi Binti Othman, Principal Director of Oral Health, Ministry of Health Malaysia emphasized the seriousness of gum disease prevalence in Malaysia, and shed light on its significant impacts on the nation’s oral health landscape.

 “94.5% of Malaysian adults suffer from unhealthy gums. Shockingly, this issue is even more prevalent among adults aged 35 to 44 years old, with a staggering 96% facing gum health challenges1. Additionally, periodontitis, a severe form of gum disease, affects 38.2% of Malaysian adults1 according to The National Oral Health Survey of Adults 2020, said Dr. Noormi.”  

She continued: “Gum health is an integral component of general oral health and well-being. Gum disease, a silent yet pervasive threat, has entrenched itself within our society. The implication of this epidemic is profound, extending far beyond oral health alone.” 

Many of us might not be aware of the role our gums play in helping us stay healthy. The fact is, our gums are not only the gatekeepers against bacteria and infections in our mouths but also provide essential support to our teeth. With proper care, they act as the main defence in keeping our bodies healthy by serving as a protective barrier to prevent inflammation and other health issues.

Delizios invited a total of 30 guests and their feline friends for an un-fur-gettable and exquisite pet-friendly dining experience at Mao Catfe, Kuala Lumpur. This unique cafe was carefully selected for its tasteful interior and sophisticated ambience, perfect for a refined and relaxing date with their cats. Throughout the event, joyous conversation filled the room with cat owners sharing experiences, pictures and laughter, creating lasting memories with both their feline buddies and the cat lovers community.

DISH NAME: CLUCKY LICK

PRODUCT USED & EXPLANATION:

A tantalising fusion of savoury Delizios Chicken Broth and an irresistible Cat Lick. Crafted with the goodness of nutritious 100% real tuna/chicken. Delizios cat lick is easy to digest and ideal for cats of all ages, including kittens and seniors. Its high moisture content keeps cats hydrated and enjoys bonding during feeding.

The lavish feast was complemented with a generous spread of “Meow-nificent Munchies”, a snack corner offering delightful treats specially designed for the esteemed feline guests.

This epicurean event was complemented by various entertaining activities. Attending cat owners received exclusive goodie bags filled with amazing gifts for both the cats and the owners. They also had the chance to experience the photo opportunity with their lovely kitties and engage in a hands-on DIY workshop designed for cat lovers to create special mementoes with their feline companions.
