FamilyMart Indonesia has unveiled its first Robot Barista at Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall East Mall – LG Floor. The innovation uses Franke Coffee Systems and Epson to serve FamilyMart’s Fami coffee drinks.
We have seen the rise of coffee vending machines in Indonesia with JumpStart being the biggest and fastest growing smart coffee bar operator in the country. JumpStart is “pioneering of a new way of consuming coffee allows anybody to easily get coffee anytime, anywhere with no human contact and cashless payment.” As of early January 2022, JumpStart has increased its network to 1,001 vending machines in the country.
