Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) has launched bottles made from 100% recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET) for all flavours of Oolong TEA+ in Thailand. This marks Suntory PepsiCo’s second second utilization of 100% rPET packaging, following the launch of Pepsi 100% rPET (550ml) in April 2023.
The introduction of Oolong TEA+ in rPET signifies a significant step as it becomes the first Ready-to-Drink (RTD) tea in the country to transition to rPET, aligning with the principles of the circular economy aimed at waste reduction. Oolong TEA+ proudly displays the 100% rPET logo, underscoring its commitment to cleanliness, safety, and consistent superior taste.
It is important to reassure consumers about the safety and cleanliness of rPET.
