A&W Malaysia is offering a taste of Mexico with the launch of A&W Chilli Con Carne, a limited-time menu item available from September 7 to October 25, 2023. Customers can choose from a chicken or beef frank, both of which are smothered in a saucy fiesta of cumin, chili powder, and kidney beans.
The special thing about A&W Chilli Con Carne is that it contains plant protein, supported by Unilever Food Solutions. However, the fast food chain didn’t mention which ingredient contains plant protein on the product image. A more thorough search reveals that the plant protein refers to the Tex-Mex sauce (do correct us if we are wrong).
Overall, the plant protein description could be clearer.
