NutriAsia, the country’s biggest manufacturer of condiments and sauces, and Green Rebel, Indonesia’s leading plant-based food tech start-up, have announced the launch of Green Rebel’s plant-based shelf-stable and frozen products in the Philippines.

Green Rebel plant-based shelf-stable products: Indonesian Rendang Curry, Black pepper Steak Bites, Korean-style BBQ Slices, and Thai Green Curry will first be made available in select Robinsons, Landmark, and The Marketplace branches. Meanwhile, frozen products – Steak, Beefless Bites, Crispy Fried Chick’n and Rybs will be available through NutriAsia Foodservice Accounts.

Soon, all these delicious plant-based offerings will be available nationwide and through ecommerce platforms, Shopee and Lazada.

NutriAsia joins other Filipino companies in offering consumers plant-based meat as a healthier alternative to animal-based products. The Philippine diet is rich in meat, especially pork. Processed meats are popular, and excessive consumption of processed meat products is detrimental to health.

Partnering with Green Rebel, which has a presence in most Southeast Asian markets, gives NutriAsia instant access to Green Rebel’s strong plant-based portfolio that can be customised to suit local palates.
