Meiji UP: cold filtration sets a standard in high‑protein milk

CP‑Meiji has introduced Meiji UP, a reformulated milk in Thailand designed to meet modern nutritional needs.

The innovation behind Meiji UP lies in its use of Cold Filtration Technology, which is strategically framed not just as a processing method but as a differentiator in the high‑protein milk segment. By filtering milk at low temperatures, CP‑Meiji preserves a higher density of natural macro and micronutrients, allowing the product to credibly claim superior nutritional value compared to conventional formulations.

The high protein content signals functional strength and aligns with consumer demand for everyday protein enrichment. The lactose‑free benefit broadens accessibility and removes a common barrier to dairy consumption. The authentic milk flavour is retained, avoiding the thick or chalky texture often associated with whey‑infused protein shakes.

The packaging highlights total protein content prominently. The higher protein claim is reinforced by the larger pack sizes, which naturally deliver more protein per unit.

Meiji UP is priced at THB 20 for 200ml, THB 39 for 400ml, and THB 175 for 2L, ensuring that consumers can choose the size that fits their lifestyle while still gaining the benefits of higher protein content.
