ERDINGER Kicks Off Oktoberfest Celebrations by Transforming Lau Pa Sat into a Massive Beer Tent for Two Weekends Only

SINGAPORE, 3 September 2026 – Back by popular demand, ERDINGER Oktoberfest returns this September with its biggest celebration yet. At the heart of the festivities is a complete takeover of Lau Pa Sat across two weekends from 18 to 19 September and 25 to 26 September, while celebrations continue across bars, restaurants, supermarkets and
online retailers nationwide until the end of October.

Building on the success of last year’s Satay Street celebration, ERDINGER will transform
Singapore’s iconic food destination into a lively Bavarian-inspired festival ground, complete with the beer-fuelled camaraderie, festive traditions and communal spirit that
have made Oktoberfest a global cultural phenomenon.

With free entry for all, festivalgoers can expect metre-long beer trays, lively stage
entertainment, immersive Oktoberfest-inspired games and larger-than-life experiences
designed to bring people together over authentic German beer and good company.

Big Bavarian Energy at Lau Pa Sat

To kick off the festivities each night, barmaids will weave through the crowd to the rousing sounds of the New Stream Brass Band, Singapore’s first New Orleans-style brass band, distributing 50 complimentary pints of ERDINGER to festivalgoers gathered around the stage. The procession culminates in a mass beer toast and resounding cry of “PROST!”, officially marking the start of another unforgettable Oktoberfest evening.

It’s not Oktoberfest without the iconic costumes. Festivalgoers dressed in their best
Oktoberfest-inspired attire, from traditional lederhosen and dirndls to festive blue-andwhite ensembles and modern takes on Bavarian style, may just catch the eye of roaming Oktoberfest Style Spotters. Standout looks will be rewarded with exclusive ERDINGER merchandise throughout the festival.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, a packed live entertainment lineup will keep spirits high
throughout both weekends. Alongside the New Stream Brass Band, festivalgoers can sing
along to crowd-favourite hits from acoustic party band The Mad Trio, providing the perfect
soundtrack for every toast.

Drink, Play, Win

Stein Holding Challenge Participants at ERDINGER Oktoberfest 2025

At ERDINGER Oktoberfest, festivalgoers won’t just be watching the action. They’ll be part of it.

Inspired by the playful traditions and communal spirit of Bavaria’s famous beer festival,
Lau Pa Sat comes alive with a series of interactive experiences and friendly competitions:

  • Pretzel Toss: A carnival-style challenge inspired by one of Oktoberfest’s most iconic
treats, where quick reflexes and sharp aim could earn players rewards.
  • Stein Slide: An Oktoberfest twist on curling that tests precision and nerve as
participants compete for the perfect shot.
  • Stein Holding Challenge: A true test of stamina, strength and determination, where
festivalgoers go head-to-head for stein-holding glory. Brave participants can also
take part in nightly hosted showdowns in front of the crowd.

Festivalgoers can unlock game passes through purchases of ERDINGER beers or by sharing their ERDINGER moments on social media.

Successful challengers will earn redemption tickets which can be exchanged for a range of exclusive ERDINGER Oktoberfest merchandise, including limited-edition jerseys, tumblers, socks and cushions. Available only at the festival, these collectibles serve as a lasting reminder of a weekend spent celebrating the Bavarian way.

The competition doesn’t stop at the games. Throughout the night, festivalgoers can take the spotlight in live Oktoberfest and ERDINGER trivia challenges, where quick thinking and beer knowledge could earn winners a coveted metre-long tray of ERDINGER for their table.

An Authentic Taste of Bavaria

At the heart of every Oktoberfest celebration is great beer, and ERDINGER brings its
Bavarian brewing heritage to Lau Pa Sat with ERDINGER Weissbier on draught.

Brewed in Erding, Germany, ERDINGER’s signature brews bring an authentic taste of Bavaria to the heart of Singapore. Visitors can pair their favourite ERDINGER brews with Lau Pa Sat’s beloved local hawker fare, creating a uniquely Singaporean Oktoberfest experience that brings together Bavarian beer culture and local culinary traditions under one roof.

The Celebration Continues Beyond Lau Pa Sat

While Lau Pa Sat serves as the heart of ERDINGER’s Oktoberfest celebrations, the festivities extend into a month-long celebration, bringing the spirit of Bavaria to beer lovers across Singapore.

Festivalgoers can continue the celebrations at participating bars, pubs and restaurants islandwide, including The Chevrons (11 Sep), Taki Bar (24 & 25 Sep), Clarke Quay Fountain (16 & 17 Oct) and Bread Butter Jam (16 Oct), where guests can participate in Oktoberfest games and win the same exclusive ERDINGER Oktoberfest merchandise offered at the festival.

For those looking to celebrate from the comfort of home, ERDINGER will also introduce limited-edition Oktoberfest Brew cans available at major supermarkets and on RedMart. Crafted specially for the festival season, the brew expertly balances smooth malt aromas with a pronounced hop bitterness, delivering a full-bodied yet refreshing taste that has become a hallmark of Bavarian Oktoberfest celebrations.

Available for a limited time only, the Oktoberfest Brew makes it easy to turn any gathering into a mini-Oktoberfest of your own, with plenty of reasons to say “Prost!”.
