Cafe Amazon in Thailand has launched a new matcha beverage made with premium Yame Matcha from Yame City, Japan, offering an authentic bean‑based recipe and rich umami flavour. Available from 15 February 2026, the range comes in three delicious options:
- Iced Premium Pure Yame Matcha – Clear, premium matcha with a rich, bean-like flavour.
- Iced Premium Yame Matcha Coconut – Clear, premium matcha mixed with sweet and fragrant coconut water.
- Iced Premium Yame Matcha Latte – Authentic premium matcha mixed with milk, offering a smooth and creamy umami taste.
In line with new Thai government standards on sugar levels in foodservice drinks, Cafe Amazon and several other chains have agreed to define ‘normal sweetness’ as containing 50% less sugar than the original recipe.
Participating brands include Inthanin, All Café, Black Canyon, Punthai and Chao Doi. The move is to lower the risk of non-communicable diseases such as obesity.
Cafe Amazon previously introduced three indulgent capsule coffee flavours: Butter Cake, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Cheesecake.
