Boost Juice in Thailand has collaborated with Skippy to launch three limited‑time peanut butter drinks — Banana Peanut Butter, Chocolate Blueberry Peanut Butter and Cookies Peanut Butter. The partnership highlights Skippy’s creamy, nutty taste profile, bringing indulgence and nostalgia into Boost’s smoothie menu.
At present, the collaboration positions peanut butter primarily as a flavor enhancer. Boost offers an optional protein add‑on for an extra charge, but it is not explicitly positioned as peanut‑derived. The drinks therefore sit within the indulgence space, with protein as a separate functional upgrade.
Looking ahead, however, the collaboration raises a strategic question: can peanut itself be repositioned as a protein source? In recent years, many peanut butter brands have begun to claim the protein space, leveraging the natural protein content of peanuts to align with consumer demand for functional foods. If Skippy were to extend this narrative into beverage partnerships, it could transform peanut butter from a comfort ingredient into a dual‑purpose one — indulgent and functional.
