NTUC FairPrice’s convenience store formats FairPrice Xpress and Cheers now offer a new service that allow consumers to pre-order from their home using WhatsApp and pick up at selected Esso petrol stations. The pre-order & pick up are valid within the same day only from 11am-7pm. Cash and credit card payments are accepted. Card payment is to be made in-store. For cash payment, the staff will bring the order to the car.
Do take note that pre-orders must be made at least 1 hour before pick up and no changes or cancellations can be made after order confirmation.
Customers are required to adhere to purchase limits. 10kg of rice, 5L of oil, 2 packs of noodles/bee hoon, 6 cans of canned food, 2 packs of paper products & 3 boxes of face mask.
Convenience stores are maximising petrol station as a pick up point and as a place to sell daily essentials. Petrol stations are strategically located, making them ideal to be turned into a place to fulfill the needs of consumers during the current pandemic crisis for a quick grab and go with minimal contact.
