Singapore-based Ha Li Fa Pte Ltd, the producer of fish balls, fish cakes, meatballs, surimi products, and chicken sausages under the name BoBo, launched its very own plant-based range Eat Plant Love (EPL) at FHA-Food & Beverage 2022 in September 2022.
FIRC @ Singapore Polytechnic worked with Ha Li Fa on the plant-based product innovation initiative by adopting the plant-based base formulation developed by FIRC.
The EPL range comprises Plant-Based Ball, Plant-Based Vegetable Roll, Plant-Based Mushroom Ball and Plant-Based Calamari.
EPL is a 0% cholesterol food made from plants. It is also free from trans fat and contains dietary fiber that is good for your gut.
