Thai RTD tea giant Ichitan is introducing a bold new flavour experience to Indonesia with the launch of Chiz Tea, the country’s first-ever ready-to-drink cheese tea.
Leading the lineup is Ichitan Chiz Tea Roasted Cheese Milk Tea, crafted with premium cheese to deliver a rich, indulgent taste that brings café-quality indulgence to the convenience of the RTD tea category.
Ichitan has held the top spot in Indonesia’s milk tea market for three consecutive years, according to Nielsen data, commanding a dominant 52% value share in Q2 2025 across the ready-to-drink tea category (excluding cup formats).
The company saw a decline in sales value in Indonesia during the first half of 2025, but this was balanced by an increase in volume growth compared to the same period in 2024. Revenue was dragged down by poor performance in the modern trade for both value and volume.
