Cha Jing, Thailand’s ready‑to‑drink Chinese tea brand from local producer General Beverage, has teamed up with IF to launch the new Cha Jing x IF Coconut Tea with Osmanthus Flavour, featuring Yunnan pu’er tea. This innovative concept — blending 100% Nam Hom Coconut Water with the floral note of osmanthus and the depth of tea — marks an interesting innovation in Thailand’s non-alcoholic drink.
The IF brand is managed by Innovative Food and Beverage (IFB), which functions as the brand management and international expansion arm of General Beverage.
In China, jasmine tea paired with coconut water is considered a uniquely harmonious flavour such as Hema Jasmine Iced Coconut Tea and Hello Coco Coconut Water with Jasmine Tea. Beyond jasmine, there is strong potential to explore other floral infusions that naturally complement coconut water — as demonstrated by Cha Jing x IF, which introduces osmanthus into the blend. Osmanthus has already appeared in packaged coconut milk tea in China, highlighting its growing role in flavour innovation.
