ZUS Coffee is taking on other tea players, especially Chagee, with the launch of its ZUS Tea series. Initially available on Grab, ZUS Tea comes in four choices: Iced Jasmine Milk Tea, Hot Jasmine Milk Tea, Hot Dark Oolong Milk and Hot White Peach Oolong, priced at RM 9.90 each. The original price of these drinks is RM 12.20, which is still more affordable than Chagee’s, priced from RM 12.74. A noteworthy aspect of ZUS Tea is that, in addition to cold offerings, they also provide a hot tea option.
Effective 19 May, each purchase of one ZUS Tea Series beverage will include one scratch card, offering an exciting hidden reward. Prizes range from GrabFood and ZUS Coffee vouchers to exclusive gifts from Nelissa Hilman and even a pair of round-trip flight tickets.
By expanding into tea, ZUS can tap into consumption during different times of the day eg afternoon tea while also reaching tea lovers.
