The new 100PLUS PRO High Protein is now in Malaysia

F&N Malaysia has finally launched 100PLUS PRO High Protein, a non-carbonated sports drink designed for hydration and muscle recovery. The new drink is more expensive than other 100PLUS products, but it contains added functional ingredients for muscle recovery and growth.

100PLUS PRO High Protein (500ml) is priced at RM 6.15 at Village Grocer. This is compared to RM 2.55 for the non-carbonated 100PLUS Active (500ml) and RM 2.15 for the normal carbonated 100PLUS (500ml).

The key ingredients in 100PLUS PRO High Protein are water, sucrose, whey protein isolate (milk source), flavorings, acidity regulator, minerals (sodium chloride, potassium phosphate, calcium phosphate), stevia extract, and vitamins (B3, B6, and B12).

100PLUS PRO High Protein contains 10g of protein per serving (500ml), which is equivalent to 2g/100ml. The drink also contains 4g of sugar per 100ml. The BCAAs in the drink also help to support muscle recovery and growth.

When you shake a bottle of 100PLUS PRO High Protein, a layer of foam will form. This is likely due to the whey protein isolate in the drink. Whey protein isolate is a type of protein that is quickly absorbed by the body, and it is often used in sports drinks and protein shakes.

100PLUS PRO High Protein has a taste that is similar to a yogurt drink. This is likely due to the combination of the whey protein isolate and the other ingredients in the drink.

It is forecast that the total value of Thailand’s restaurant industry in 2023 will reach THB 4.35 trillion, with an expected annual growth rate of 7.1%, driven by consumer behavior returning to normalcy, coupled with the boost from the expanding tourism industry. “For the initial launch, Grab will be focusing on marketing to the urban lifestyle-oriented customer groups, with an emphasis on families, couples, and friends who often dine out together.
