The Bricket offers Bounce Almond Tuile Mixed with Cricket Powder

The Bricket Co Ltd displayed its Bounce Almond Tuile Mixed with Cricket Powder at the recent THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2023 held in Bangkok in May 2023. The French-style, cricket-based almond tuile is flourless and is high in antioxidants.

The ingredients are almond (48%), egg white (20%), butter (10%), coconut blossom sugar (15%), salt (1%) and cricket protein powder (6%).

Bounce Almond Tuile Mixed with Cricket Powder is made by Bakeologist Co Ltd. The imported Californian almonds provide various health benefits including immunity, brain and nervous system and heart health.

Green Spoons Plant-Based Chicken Powder Mix is Thailand’s first DIY plant-based meat offering consumers the convenience of making their own plant-based meat the way they like it. The DIY plant-based chicken powder mix was exhibited at THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2023 as part of the Tech Start-up Showcase.

Green Spoons Plant-Based Chicken Powder Mix (100ml) is based on the fresh chicken concept. Consumers make their plant-based chicken from stratch by adding a tiny bit of oil and water. They can create the ideal shape and cook it the way they like it.

  • Add 75ml of ice water* and 10m oil
  • Add 25g of chicken mix
  • Mix with blender for 1-2 min until a dough is formed
  • Refrigerate (4°C) for 2 hours for firmer texture (optional)
  • Shape
  • Season and cook (steam, grill, fry, bake).

*Ice cold water is key to bouncy chicken texture.

Green Spoons Plant-Based Chicken Powder Mix contains plant and wheat fibre* (51%), soy protein isolate (90%) – 32%, texturiser (INS 461, INS 1442), spices and herbs (garlic, onion, white pepper powder), flavour enhancer (INS 621, 551, 631, 627, 327, 340 (i). *not to be confused with wheat flour.

The plant-based concept is going back to the basic allowing consumers to eliminate unnecessary ingredients in their plant-based foods.

 

Minna Egg White Protein Drink leverages egg white as a high quality protein source

Minna Egg White Protein Drink is a new innovative drink that appeared at the recent THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2023. The drink uses egg white as the base ingredient to deliver a good source of protein. Egg whites, which contains albumin as the main ingredient, are the most abundant protein in the plasma.

Minna Egg White Protein Drink is free from lactose and soy. The drink has no added sugar, colourant and preservatives. The drink is low in cholesterol, potassium and phosphorus.

Minna Egg White Protein Drink is available in two flavours chocolate and vanilla. The high quality egg white protein beverage is suitable for children, weight watchers, the elderly and for health recovery. The shelf life is one year.

Minna Egg White Protein Drink Vanilla contains egg white (19.4%), coconut oil non-dairy creamer (5%), mixgrain protein (3.9%), maltitol syrup, sucralose, stabiliser and nature identical flavour.

Thai Younger Farm Co Ltd, which makes rice cracker, granola and oat milk, has unveiled a new range of oat milk powdered drinks with black sesame, job’s tears and red bean at THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2023. The addition of local ingredients into oat milk powdered drinks can help expand the acceptance and improve the flavour profile of oat milk.

Apart from oat milk, the company has added four new mini rice cracker flavours including Tomato Splash, Devil Spicy, Wagyu Steak and Truffle Mushroom.

Younger Farm’s two special granola flavours include Caramel Almond and Chocolate Hazelnut.

New Ricely Rice Bran Oil Non-Dairy Creamer on display at Thaifex 2023

Thailand’s King Rice Oil Group has launched a new rice bran oil that can make your drinks healthier. The new Ricely Rice Bran Oil Non-Dairy Creamer uses pure rice stearin as a key ingredient. The non-dairy creamer contains natural antioxidants and micronutrients such as Oryzanol and Phytosterols, which can lower the level of the bad cholesterol (LDL-C) in the blood.

Ricely Rice Bran Oil Non-Dairy Creamer contains glucose syrup (60%), rice stearin (35%), sodium caseinate (2%) and emulsifier (1%).

Also exhibited at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2023 is Ricely Rice Bran Oil with Oryzanol 15,000 ppm in a new look.

Farmille 100% plant-based yogurt featured at Thaifex 2023

Farmille 100% plant-based yogurt by BE LAB Co Ltd is one of the THAIFEX – Anuga tasteInnovation show finalists. Farmille is made from chickpea and pea providing high protein at 10g per serving equivalent to 20% of Thai Recommended Daily (RDI) intakes. The vegan product is non-dairy and gluten-free without soy.

4Care debuts Balance Oat Milk Plus and Tastifit Natural Seasoning Powder at Thaifex 2023

Thailand’s 4Care Co., Ltd., which makes coconut cream alternatives and cereal drinks, is riding the oat milk trend with the unveiling of its very own Balance Oat Milk Plus at THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2023.

Unlike the other oat milk beverages in the market, Balance Oat Milk Plus has a milky-like texture and formulated with a triple plant complex. Balance Oat Milk Plus contains almond milk and jasmine brown rice milk in less sugar (chocolate) and no added sugar (plain) variants.

Balance Oat Milk Plus contains calcium from red algae, protein from almond, fibre from inulin, vitamin B2 and B12. It is free from soy, dairy, fish, peanuts, egg and crustacean.

Balance Oat Milk Plus Chocolate has oat milk (53%), almond milk (20%), jasmine brown rice milk (17%), sugar (2.7%), inulin (2.5%), rice bran oil (2.3%), cocoa powder (1%), calcium from lithothamnion seaweed (0.18%) and vitamin mineral premix.

In addition to Balance Oat Milk Plus, 4CareInno has launched Tastifit Natural Vegetable Seasoning Power and Tastifit Natural Chicken Seasoning Power in the local Thai market. Both products are 50% lower in sodium and are free from MSG.

Thai Preserved Food Factory Co Ltd, which makes the Wai Wai branded instant noodles in Thailand, has unveiled its latest high fibre instant noodle at THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2023. The high fibre instant noodle, developed with Prince of Songkla University, is gluten free, vegan and non-GMO. The noodle helps to improve gut health and stimulate bowel movement.

Thai Preserved Food Factory also showcased its Japanese Style Instant Noodles and Gluten-Free Rice Ramen at the expo.

Happy Noodles brings new High Protein Ramen to Thaifex 2023

At THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2023, Chiang Mai-based Happy Noodles (Greenature Grains and Noodle Co., Ltd.) exhibited its latest High Protein Ramen and other rice-based ramen products, which are fat free, additive free and gluten free.

The gluten-free ramen made with rice by Greenature Grains and Noodle has been name as one of the THAIFEX – Anuga tasteInnovation Show finalists.

The Happy Noodles High Protein Ramen contains 15% protein and is fortified with BCAA to support the needs of consumers who workout and exercise. The ingredients of Happy Noodles High Protein Ramen are buckwheat (35.2%), white rice (30.8%), tapioca starch (13.2%), water (12%) and potato protein (8.8%).
