Wall’s Paddle Pop Upin & Ipin Anggur Apel Jeruk is now available in Indonesia. The ice cream, which is high in vitamin C, features Upin and Ipin, which are the two main characters in the animated series originated from Malaysia. Upin and Ipin are five-year-old Malaysian twins who live in the rural village. The Upin & Ipin characters are shown in the traditional Malay outfit, which is timely as the fasting month of Ramadan will start in early April 2022.

Pipiltin Cocoa has launched its latest Single Origin Kampung Merasa 74% Chocolate Bar to maintain awareness in protecting endangered species, in addition to sustainable forests and providing livelihoods for local cocoa farmers.

Bawaan Island is an island located in Kampung Merasa in Berau District, East Kalimantan which is a place to train orangutans to survive before being released into the wild. While on the island, orangutans will learn to forage for food and not depend on humans.

Doi Kham in Thailand has launched Cordyceps Juice with Ganoderma Lucidum (lingzhi or reshi). The latest herbal drink combines the immune power of cordyceps and ganoderma lucidum, while offering a sweet and delicate flavor from real honey.

The beverage is high in vitamin A, vitamin B12 and folate to help strengthen the immune system. Priced at THB 18 per 200ml pack. The drink comes with the Healthier Choice logo.

Calbee Wings Food, the joint venture between Calbee and Indonesia’s Wings Food, is going premium with Potabee Black Truffle. Apparently, the latest snack was so popular that it was temporarily out of stock. Calbee Wings Food introduced Wagyu Beef Steak in 2020 but we didn’t see wagyu beef having the same impact as truffle. In Thailand, Lay’s has launched its Truffle potato chips to much fanfare. Truffle seems to do the trick in both markets.
