Protemil can be used as a meal accompaniment for rice and noodle dishes. The plant-based food, which is high in plant-based protein, is said to have a meat texture without the cholesterol. The price per pack is only IDR 5,000.
Protemil is a good example of a localised plant-based food that is affordably priced and comes with flavours that suit the Indonesian palate.
