Six stations, one heart-pounding arena located at the heart of the mall: Inspired by global fitness races, Great World RoxStars invites kids and teens to swap their screens for sled pushes, burpees, and bragging rights in a unique event designed to test their limits and keep them moving
SINGAPORE, 27 April 2026 — This June, Great World invites kids and teens to level up with its first-ever RoxStars event! Held from 19 to 21 June, participants aged 7 to 16 can pick up dumbbells, wall balls, and weight sleds in a high-energy fitness circuit designed just for them.
A first-of-its-kind event for a mall in Singapore, RoxStars transforms Great World’s Level 1 Atrium into an arena with six action-packed stations inspired by those from viral fitness races. Expert coaches from MobKidz by Mobilus — one of Singapore’s largest functional fitness gyms — have specially designed each course to suit young challengers, ensuring that each station is fun, safe, and thrilling to take on. Participants can sign up under two categories: Kids, welcoming those aged 7 to 12, and Teens, for those aged 13 to 16.
What’s more, the event coincides with Father’s Day, featuring a special edition on Sunday, 21 June! From 3pm to 6pm, dads can join in the action with their children in a dedicated Father & Kid category. Expect a fun, hands-on team challenge where everyone works together to finish all stations.
At its core, RoxStars taps into a bigger trend of more active, screen-free experiences for young ones — reflecting a broader shift towards purposeful play for a new generation.
The RoxStars Challenge
Step into the arena at the Level 1 Atrium. At Great World RoxStars, the heart of the action lies in a six-station circuit inspired by functional fitness race formats.
Every zone brings a new challenge and potential win — from the famed Burpee Broad Jump to the grit-testing Sled Push — each designed to test different aspects of physical performance, from strength and endurance, to coordination and agility within the 30-minute slot.
Reps and weights are thoughtfully adapted across both age categories, and each station is supervised by expert coaches from MobKidz by Mobilus, ensuring each station is tough enough to be thrilling, but always safe and achievable. No experience required — all challengers have to do is show up in comfortable sports attire and covered shoes suitable for physical activity, and get ready to rock.
Here’s what participants will take on:
