est Cola embraces rPET in sustainable bid

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, est Cola has transitioned its 515ml bottles in Thailand to 100% recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET). To further support its sustainability goals, Est Cola has partnered with Thai Beverage Recycle to install over 70 bottle return bins across Bangkok and its surrounding areas.

Gaysorn is the first cooking oil brand in Thailand to use rPET bottles

Patum Vegetable Oil, the maker of Gaysorn vegetable oil, has collaborated with PTT Global Chemical and ENVICCO Limited to create the first rPET bottle for cooking oil in Thailand. The rPET bottle is made from recycled plastic and meets the standards of the Thai and US Food and Drug Administrations. Gaysorn is the first cooking oil brand in Thailand to use rPET bottles. The initiative aims to reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions.

Keep the cap on the lid with tethered caps for crystal drinking water

Sermsuk Plc, the maker of Crystal drinking water, the number one bottled water in Thailand, has launched tethered caps as part of its sustainability initiative. These caps are attached to the bottle’s mouth, minimising the risk of them becoming litter.  The new packaging also complies with legal requirements and international standards stipulating that plastic water bottles must have attached caps.

We have seen Oishi opted for tethered caps for its RTD tea and United Foods PCL doing the same with its All Spring mineral water.

These snacks, designed for babies aged 8 months and older, are enriched with DHA from fish oil. It is free from artificial colours, preservatives and artificial flavours.

Wall’s Indonesia unveils new ice cream flavours

Wall’s Indonesia has unveiled three new ice cream products for the local market including Wall’s Twister Grape Lychee, which is a yogurt ice cream with the combination of grape and lychee flavour. Wall’s Twister Grape Lychee has debuted in neighbouring markets like Thailand and Cambodia.

The other two new affordable ice cream products are Wall’s Melon Kelapa (IDR 3,000) and Wall’s Populaire Fruity Mango (IDR 5,000).

Wall’s has also rolled out the new Wall’s Ice Cream Cornetto Crunch Milk Berry, which is priced at IDR 6,000.
