Janice Wong Celebrates Valentine's Day with a Series of Sweet Treats and Activations

XOXO Chocolates and 40g Chocolate Bars

January 21, 2019, Singapore – Celebrate your loved ones this Valentine’s Day with Janice Wong’s Valentine’s collection of XOXO Chocolates and 40g Chocolate Bars. Being one of the most loved sweet treats, Chocolate is always the key to someone’s heart and is the perfect way to say, “I love you”.

Created especially for this romantic day, surprise someone special with a box of XOXO Chocolates. Retailed at S$38, these love-themed chocolates come in boxes of nine and are designed in two different shapes, lips and hearts. Keeping in theme, sink your teeth into three different flavours: Love, with a rose filling, Harmony, a delicious lemon and basil flavour, and for that added level of Indulgence, a Bailey’s Salted Caramel flavour.

To complement this, Janice Wong has partnered with local brand, Candles of Light to offer a Valentine’s Day special set. Pair a box of XOXO Chocolates with Dawn, a lavender, citrus and mint-scented candle to engage the very best of your senses. Available instore and online, these exclusive sets are available from now until 29 February 2020 at S$55.

40g Chocolate Bars

Making a return for this romantic occasion are Janice’s Chocolate 40g Bars in an exclusive Valentine’s Rose Raspberry flavour. Each dark chocolate bar has been hand-crafted with a splash of red and packaged with a Valentine’s Day greeting card so that customers can personalise a message for their loved ones.

In addition to these sweet treats, Janice Wong Singapore presents a series of pop-up stores set to take place from January through February in major shopping malls in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, Japan, to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

A regular on the global pop-up circuit, Janice Wong presents a total of five pop-up stores offering Valentine’s Day exclusives and Japan specials from the end of January to Valentine’s Day on 14 February 2020. These include a variety of exclusive chocolate boxes such as the Heart Chocolate Box and Flower Chocolate Box, chocolate popping candies and ruby mochis, and two Lollipop flavours in Peppermint Orange and Dulce Orange Passionfruit.

The pop-up locations include Shibuya Scramble Square, Odakyu Shinjuku and Seibu Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Abeno Harukas in Osaka and Solaria Plaza in Fukuoka(Please refer to the appendix below for further details on pop-up dates and location.)

About Janice Wong:

Chef Janice Wong’s never-ending passion for culinary art has propelled her forward to test the limits of dessert making. The native Singaporean has learned from some of the world’s best chefs, including US luminaries Thomas Keller and Grant Achatz, virtuoso Spanish chocolatier Oriol Balaguer, and prodigious French pastry chef Pierre Hermé. An undisputed favourite among sweet-toothed Singaporeans, her dessert restaurant 2am:dessertbar has recently celebrated their twelfth year anniversary, redefining the dessert experience and pushing the boundaries between sweet and savoury with carefully researched progressive dishes.
