URC has launched C2 Plus Immuno-C to make its flagship RTD tea brand C2 more relevant to consumers in the Philippines.
The drink comes in two variants – Orange Flavored Juice Tea Drink and Calamansi Flavored Juice Tea Drink, combining the power of Vitamin C and Zinc to strengthen the body immune defense.
2020 was a poor year for the RTD tea category in the Philippines as out-of-home has been badly impacted by social distancing and the lockdown. Shifting some of the consumption towards in-home with larger volume, adding more functional benefits, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer are some of the strategies employed by RTD tea producers regionally to mitigate the slowdown in demand.
URC has earlier added caramel flavour to its C2 milk tea line.
