Snack producer BJC Foods (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has deepened its connection with Malaysian consumers through two new launches crafted for the local palate. The introduction of Wise Tasto in Asam Pedas and Nasi Lemak flavours signals a stronger drive toward differentiation by championing familiar local tastes.
Building on this approach, the company has previously rolled out limited‑edition flavours inspired by beloved Malaysian dishes such as Ikan Masak Tiga Rasa, Ayam Masak Lomak, Malaysian‑style burger and Rendang — reinforcing its strategy of weaving local culinary heritage into snack innovation.

The latest additions highlight this direction:
- Asam Pedas — a sour and spicy fish stew made with tamarind, chilies and aromatic herbs, typically enjoyed with rice.
- Nasi Lemak — Malaysia’s national dish of coconut milk rice paired with sambal, anchovies, peanuts, cucumber and egg.

Both products are available exclusively at 7‑Eleven outlets across Peninsular Malaysia.

The company has also recently introduced potato crisps in salted egg, available in both original and spicy variants, packaged in canisters.
