Both newly-launched products are made from mycoprotein.
Nasi Lemak Kosong contains meat-free sambal chilli, meat-free luncheon meat, meat-free chicken bites and Otah Kosong, described as the first meat-free otah.
Otak-otak or otah is a Southeast Asian fish cake made of ground fish mixed with spices and wrapped in leaf parcels.
The latest innovation by Lee Wee & Brothers is another demonstration of the appraoch of popularising meat-free using popular local dishes.
Astro is a quick commerce start-up platform in Indonesia that provides groceries and essentials in 15 minutes has launched a range of private label food and drink products, reported Kabar Tangsel.
The new Astro private label range is a collaboration with local farmers to empower them by giving them access to new markets. The products include Iced Black Coffee, Iced White Coffee, Milky Aren, Fresh Taro and Mango Tango as well as cakes and buns.
The Iced Black Coffee uses 100% Arabica coffee from Flores, while the Iced White Coffee uses 100% Arabica coffee from Aceh.
Sour Sally Group, known for its non-fat frozen yogurt, has collaborated with AR/VR technology company PT WIR Asia Tbk to enter into the metaverse, reported Antara News. The MoU was signed by the two parties on 13 April 2022. Having a presence on the metaverse will allow Sour Sally not only to connect with local consumers across Indonesia but also make the brand name known globally.

The TOP3 metric shows how successful a vendor is by measuring its performance across a number of independent tests within a calendar year. Consistent performance across multiple tests and products gives a more meaningful assessment of the company than the results of a single test. The TOP3 metric includes results from lab tests, such as AV-Comparatives, AV-TEST, SE Labs and others.
Among the numerous tests considered in 2021âs TOP3, some are particularly noteworthy. The âAdvanced Endpoint Protection: Ransomware Protectionâ test performed by AV-TEST, saw Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud achieve the highest possible result, protecting against all ransomware attacks used in the research. SE Labs awarded Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response with the highest-grade, âAAA,â in the Enterprise Advanced Security (EDR) Test because the product detected every one of the 16 targeted attacks from 4 groups[1] with no false positives and a total accuracy rating of 98%. Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business received the âAdvancedâ award from AV-TEST in the Advanced Threat Protection Test against ransomware and was also granted several other annual awards from the organization, including âBest Protectionâ, âBest Performanceâ and âBest Usability.â Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business has also been ranked by IDC as a Major Player in the IDC MarketScape and was noted for its ability to offer enterprise customers a natively integrated cross-product solution.
