KUALA LUMPUR, 5 JULY 2024 – The love story began in the spring of 2023 when Häagen-Dazs partnered up with Pierre Hermé Paris, the ‘Picasso of Pastry’ to launch their first ever macaron ice creams that reimagined the iconic French dessert. For Part Deux in 2024, they are back with two new summery flavours to double down on their extraordinary collaboration. These exclusive creations can be savoured only at Häagen-Dazs cafes.
Since launching the collection with world-renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé, the Häagen-Dazs macaron ice creams have been a resounding success globally. Crunchy chewy mini macaron shells are added to the creamy ice cream, bringing the perfect balance of the dreamy taste of Häagen-Dazs with the Pierre Hermé Paris macaron’s signature almond flavour.
To bring more excitement to dessert lovers everywhere, two new flavours are hitting shelves in the spring-summer of 2024. The favourite limited edition flavour Yuzu & Lemon will be making a limited-time return due to its rousing consumer response and an exquisite new flavour Vanilla & Blueberry will be added to further elevate the collection.
The newest flavour addition Vanilla & Blueberry brings the perfect combination of Häagen-Dazs signature vanilla ice cream and a burst of fresh blueberries and juicy blackcurrants, with mini macaron shells that add that extra crunch and chew for an ultimate ice cream experience.
Whilst the Yuzu & Lemon flavour offers a tangy delight, with delicious citrus swirls of tongue-tingling zesty lemon ice cream and a lemon & yuzu curd sauce, teaming together to create delicious spoonfuls, also with mini macaron shells that perfectly balance the ice cream with the almond flavour of the macarons.
The flavours add to the existing range, which includes the now sought after Double Chocolate Ganache and Strawberry & Raspberry. They are built on the same principles of combining the best of both worlds: ice cream + macarons, bringing you ‘Paris in a pint’.
In addition to these irresistible new flavours, Häagen-Dazs is excited to introduce exclusive limited edition creations for parfait lovers. These parfaits are perfectly layered with a variety of delightful ingredients, providing an exquisite treat that elevates the art of dessert-making.
Introducing the Macaron & Mixed Berries Parfait, a delightful treat that combines Macaron Vanilla & Blueberry ice cream, layered with macaron shells, whipped cream, red fruit coulis, and pieces of real strawberries and blueberries. This parfait harmonises a blend of creamy, crunchy, and fruity elements, appealing to dessert enthusiasts seeking a refined treat.
Equally enticing is the Macaron & Strawberry Parfait featuring Macaron Strawberries & Raspberry ice cream layered with crunchy macaron shells, strawberry coulis, whipped cream, and an array of delectable toppings. This parfait promises a perfect indulgence with its rich flavours and textures.
Complementing these parfaits are the Strawberry and Chocolate Macaron Ice Cream Cakes. These decadent cakes combine luscious Häagen-Dazs ice cream with delicate macaron shells for a luxurious dessert experience. The Strawberry Macaron Ice Cream Cake boasts layers of strawberry ice cream and macaron shells, while the Chocolate Macaron Ice Cream Cake indulges with rich chocolate flavours complemented by the delightful crunch of macarons.
