With its intimate speakeasy vibe and lively hip hop music, 28 HongKong Street has always been a late-night destination, recently celebrating the milestone of 10 years of service in Singapore. Chef Grant Bushkuhl from Williams & Graham has curated two signature dishes for this latest Proper Dinner menu, including the Chicken Shwarma Flatbreada house-made Saudi Arabian Manaeesh (flatbread) with brined & grilled chicken thigh, pecorino sardo and mozzarella cheeses, shallot, slices of tomato, tahini, hot sauce, garnished with parsley and cilantro and served with a side of fries, and the Pork Shoulder ‘Steak’ accompanied with chipotle risotto and Greek style haricot vert.

year earned the brewer public recognition amongst the fraternity of Sustainability

SHAH ALAM, 30 November 2021 – The resolute commitment to reaching out to the community in need has led Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd bagging the “Company of the Year” under the manufacturing of beverage sector for the second time at the 6th edition Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2021. The brewer’s COVID-19 relief program named Safer Schools campaign was recognised as an exemplary project in providing meaningful intervention and solution for communities involved.

Receiving the accolade at the award ceremony yesterday, Carlsberg Malaysia’s Corporate
Director Pearl Lai said, “We are humbled by this recognition as to us living the Company’s
purpose of Brewing for a Better Today and Tomorrow for the social and eco-systems we
operate in is our constant pursue for better in achieving social and commercial sustainability.”

For two consecutive years, amid the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Carlsberg Malaysia had sponsored hundreds of handheld and infrared thermometers as well as full disinfection services to approximately 1,800 schools nationwide. Aimed at providing a safer learning environment for school-going children and teachers, this community engagement campaign totaling RM3.1 million has eased financial strain faced by schools and alleviated public fears over the outbreak of COVID-19 at schools.

Coca-Cola Malaysia Donating Essential Items to Elderly Home in Seremban

Kuala Lumpur, 30 November 2021 – Just surrounding Coca-Cola Malaysia’s bottling plant in Bandar Enstek Seremban, the residents of Rumah Seri Kenangan, an elderly home in Seremban, are being cared for with love. Rumah Seri Kenangan currently shelters around 74 elderly citizens,  among which comes from multi-racial background, including a sizeable refugee population. The home just recently underwent renovation with new facilities being set up.

Coca-Cola Malaysia is committed to uplifting the communities they serve. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) series, representatives from Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia and the HOPE volunteering arm donated essential items to Rumah Seri Kenangan on  19 November. The donation consists of essential items for the elderly home, among which includes washing machines, medical instruments, wheelchairs, as well as air-conditioning units, which will be extremely vital for bedridden residents. The funds that were used to purchase the items were generated from the Company’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The donation was officiated by the Commercial Director of Coca-Cola Malaysia Mr Eric Tan and the Chairman of Board of Visitors – En Mat Zamree Bin Abdul Aziz.

Speaking at the event, Commercial Director of Coca-Cola Malaysia Mr. Eric Tan said, “As a representative of the Company, I feel very honoured to have the opportunity for us to come together in contributing to the local community in need, such as the ability to provide comfort and facilitate the daily needs of residents and staff at Rumah Seri Kenangan.  We are thrilled to see that these essential items will benefit the residents and provide them a more comfortable environment.”

Throughout the years, Coca-Cola Malaysia has been involved in various charities for the community in need around Negeri Sembilan. Rumah Seri Kenangan is part of our wider CSR initiatives, among which includes the annual Fast2Feed programme during Ramadan, and donations to COVID-19 vaccination centres (PPVs). ‘Sizzler’ Launches New Menu Campaign to Celebrate Happiness Festival Adds New Line of Desserts and Confidents that Sales Target will Return

Monday 29 November 2021 – Sizzler is offering a special dining experience during the festive season with the latest release of new desserts – ‘Chocolate Mousse Ice Cream’ and ‘Cheese Toast Ice cream’ and ‘Macau Style Egg Tart’; special menus to celebrate Father’s Day – ‘Salted Egg Lobster & Spaghetti Olio’ and ‘Grilled Trout in Roasted Garden Cherry Tomatoes’; and festive season menus for New Year’s Eve celebrations – ‘The Beef Rossini & Shrimps’, ‘Battered of Trout With the Spicy’s Herb Salad’, and ‘Christmas Sous Vide Chicken with Red Wine Sause’.
