New Indomie Seblak Hot Jeletot taps into foodservice trend

Indofood, Indonesia’s largest instant noodle company, has launched Indomie Hype Abis Rasa Seblak Hot Jeletot. Originated from Bandung, Indonesia, seblak is made of wet kerupuk (traditional Indonesian crackers) and cooked with meat, eggs and spicy sauce. Seblak comes in many variants depending on the ingredients it is paired with such as macaroni, kwetiau noodle or bakso (meat ball). Seblak can be served wet or dry. Jeletot in the Sundanese language means hot until your eyes popped out.

Indomie Hype Abis Rasa Seblak Hot Jeletot comes under the Hype Abis range, which is a series featuring trending dishes in Indonesia including Ayam Geprek. Indomie Hype Abis Rasa Seblak Hot Jeletot comes with kerupuk, broad noodle (mie lebar), spices and seasonings made from onion, aromatic ginger (kencur) and other ingredients.

The recommended toppings include lobster, cockle, mozarella and cireng (a fried street food made from tapioca flour).
