Japan’s House Foods Group will form a joint venture with Indonesia’s seasoning manufacturer Sasa Inti with House Foods taking a 49% stake and Sasa Inti with 51%. PT Sasa Housefoods Indonesia will be in charge of sales and marketing of of Sasa House brand halal curry products with a focus on the traditional trade channel.
Sasa Inti is an affiliate of Rodamas, which commands a strong reach in the traditional sales channel in Indonesia.

Thailand’s Taveephol has introduced its Kukuru yogurt drinks in Singapore. Available at 7-Eleven, Kukuru contains nata de coco for the chewy mouthfeel. The available flavours are lychee, strawberry and peach.
Kukuru Lychee ingredients are lychee juice from lychee juice concentrate (25%), nata de coco (5%), fructose syrup (3.5%), whey protein concentrate (0.6%), and yoghurt powder (0.3%).
Thailand’s RS Group has added two flavours to its Camu C fruit juice containing camu camu, which provides 200% of the recommended dairy vitamin C intake. The two new flavours are Blue Hawaii and Lychee. Camu C has vitamin B12 to promote the normal functioning of the immune system. Both Camu C Blue Hawaii and Lychee are sugar free.
