Sappe new functional drink addresses menstrual cramp

Sappe has launched Herbal Series with a drink for females to help reduce blood clotting, one of the main causes of menstraul cramps in women. The functional beverage has pomegranate juice, safflower, dong quai (female ginseng) and black pepper. The 150ml drink is free from sugar and is priced at THB 29 per bottle.

Sappe’s latest drink reminds us of Kiranti, a similar herbal drink in Indonesia that addresses menstrual health.

Crystal makes drinking water available in aluminium can

Sermsuk Public Co., Ltd., which produces Crystal, Thailand’s favorite quality drinking water, has launched drinking water in an aluminium can to protect the environment.

The Crystal water in a can features the artworks from Thai artist Yuree Kensaku and is available in four designs.

Crystal x Yuree limited edition, which features four new designs inspired by regions in Thailand, is also available in Crystal water sold in a PET bottle.

Other ways to improve the eco-credential of bottled water are to package them in carton or have a label-free version.

Nutrifood has launched a Korean-inspired Tropicana Slim Korean Goguma Cookies. The sugar-free cookies are low in calories at 100kcal per serving, making them ideal for weight watchers. Goguma (고구마) means sweet potato in Korean. In addition to riding the K-food trend, Goguma flavour can be used for various food and drink innovation.

NutriSari comes with Es Rujak Jeruk Bali and Apel Jeruk flavours

Indonesia’s Nutrifood has launched NutriSari Es Rujak Jeruk Bali. The new powdered juice drink in sachet is high in vitamin D and has vitamin A, B1, B3, B6 and E as well as calcium and phosphorus.

Also available is the new NutriSari Apel Jeruk featuring the flavours of apple and jeruk or orange.

Both drinks provide 100% of RDI in vitamin C.

Café Amazon Nan Honey Process focusing on the processing technique

Café Amazon has launched a new drip coffee where the 100% Arabica coffee beans that have undergone the honey process. According to Coffee Culture, “The hardest and most demanding coffee processing method is the honey process. First, you need to carry out the pulping of the coffee and then spread it out for drying in the sun without any washing. After which it is spread thinly on special drying beds and turning them over every hour for the next 10-15 days.” The coffee is cultivated in Doi Suan Luang Ya in Nan province.
