Lee Seung Gi is also a popular variety show host, and has hosted popular variety shows, including 2 Days 1 Night, Strong Heart, and Master in the House. He is known for his quick wit, charm, and ability to connect with the audience.

K-drama fans can catch Lee Seung Gi in <The King 2Hearts>, first run on ONE channel on Astro (CH 393) and Unifi TV (Ch 461) from 2 November 2023, every Thursday and Friday at 7.50pm. The popular Korean romantic comedy drama shares the love between Lee Jae-ha (Lee Seung Gi), a South Korean prince and Kim Hang-ah (Ha Ji-won), a North Korean special agent. The two initially clash, but they eventually fall in love. However, their relationship is disapproved of due to the political tensions between North and South Korea. They must overcome many obstacles, including their own families and the evil plans of a North Korean general who is trying to overthrow the South Korean government.

Lee Seung Gi also stars in the South Korean reality show, <Golf Battle: Birdie Buddies>, which re-runs on 11 November 2023, Saturday at 6.30pm. Each episode features three celebrity hosts divided into teams to compete against each other in a golf match. The winning team is rewarded with a prize, while the losing team is penalised with funny and light-hearted punishments. Fans and golf enthusiasts can look forward to the antics of the three hosts, and their great sense of humour.

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 October 2023 – Pos Malaysia Berhad (“Pos Malaysia” or “the Group”), the national post and parcel service provider, commemorated World Post Day 2023 today. The celebration is a global event to celebrate the important services provided by the postal sector.

The celebration at the Pos Malaysia headquarters themed “Together for Trust: Collaborating for a Safe and Connected Future”, was graced by the presence of YB Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications and Digital, and YB Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital.

The theme for this year highlights unity and collaboration for a secure and interconnected future.

In his speech, YB Fahmi Fadzil expressed the government’s appreciation to Pos Malaysia and all of its employees for several initiatives that have been implemented such as expanding the reach of postal services nationwide through a network of post offices, Pos Mini and “Pick Up Drop Off” at the Digital Economy Centre (PEDi), as well as providing employment opportunities to rural communities in Sabah and Sarawak such as ‘Posmen Komuniti’ (PK) and ‘Wakil Posmen Komuniti’ (WPK).

Fans gathered also enjoyed the opportunity to be one of the first to experience the exhibition along with a special Wadaiko (Japanese drums) performance, as part of the opening ceremony, signifying the ever-growing popularity and influence of Japanese culture in Malaysia.

Mamee-Double Decker buys into gourmet snack food producer The Golden Duck

Mamee-Double Decker has invested in Singapore’s gourmet snack maker The Golden Duck, according to DealStreetAsia’s DATA VANTAGE. This news was reported in August 2023 and was confirmed by Mamee-Double Decker’s Group CEO Pierre Pang during an interview on BFM 89.9 in August 2023.

The Golden Duck’s products include fish skin crisps, seaweed tempura, and potato ridges. The investment will help Mamee to expand its portfolio of premium Asian-based snacks for both local and export markets. Mamee plans to leverage its strong distribution network and manufacturing capability to scale up The Golden Duck’s business.

New Pascual Chocolate Milk is rich in vitamin B complex and a source of calcium

ABI Pascual Foods, a joint venture with Asia Brewery, has launched a new flavoured milk in the Philippines. The new Pascual Chocolate Milk is rich in vitamin B2, B6 and B12 and is a source of calcium. The price per bottle is PHP 35. ABI Pascual Foods is known for its spoonable yogurt in the local market.

Binggrae launches new ice cream sticks, Melona Pints

Binggrae has launched two new ice cream products in Indonesia namely Cookie and Cream Bar and Cafe Au Lait. The South Korean company has also introduced two upsized Melona ice cream with the new Melona pints in 710ml in two flavours melon and strawberry.

The popular Korean frozen treat Samanco now has a new look too.

The South Korean food and beverage company Binggrae posted a 27% yoy rise in export sales in the first half of 2023 to reach KRW 77.5 billion (USD 57.8 million). Ice cream alone accounted for KRW 46.6 billion with the Melona brand contributing KRW 29 billion.

Jiwater natural artesian water gets a new look

Jiwater, a natural artesian water processed with Japanese technology, has received a new packaging makeover. The mineral water has a pH level of 7.5 to 8 and is rich in minerals such as zinc and magnesium, which are said to boost energy and improve body performance.

Jiwater is the first artesian water in Indonesia and is produced by Kosme Group. The company has recently announced that Indonesian model Sabrina Chairunnisa and magician, actor, and YouTuber Deddy Corbuzier are the new brand ambassadors for Jiwater.
