Orichef is a new shelf stable ready-to-eat meal in Malaysia. Orichef is by the same company that owns the popular Origina dairy & juice beverage brand. The heat-and-eat concept is suitable for working individuals, travellers and college students who do not have the time to prepare a nutritious and tasty meal.

Orichef comes in travel pack and box pack. The meals are already fully cooked and self-heating. Just add a few ounces of any non-flammable liquid and a hot meal will be ready in just 5-10 minutes.

Orichef comprises the following:

  • Nasi Lemak Basmathi Pandan Rendang Daging Mak Tok Dan Kuah Sambal (Coconut Basmathi Pandan Rice with Beef Rendang and Sambal Sauce)
  • Nasi Goreng Ayam Dan Kuah Sambal (Aromatic Basmathi Fried Rice Cooked with Beef Served with Sambal)
  • Nasi Basmathi Tomato Dengan Ayam Masak Merah (Tomato Basmathi Rice with Tomato Chicken)
  • Nasi Putih Basmathi Berperisa Mentega & Saffron Ayam Masala Dan Kuah Sambal (White Basmathi Rice Flavoured with Butter and Saffron Served with Chicken Masala and Sambal Sauce)
  • Nasi Putih Dengan Safron Dihidangkan Dengan Rendang Ayam Mak Tok Dan Sambal (Mixed Rice with Saffron Served with Rendang Mak Tok Chicken and Sambal)
  • Spaghetti Carbonara

Hooray! high protein shake has a new salted caramel flavour

Hooray! in Thailand has launched a high protein shake featuring the flavour of salted caramel. This lactose-free drink is made from New Zealand whole milk. The beverage meets 90% of the daily recommended intake of calcium and 45% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin B2. This high protein shake has 29g of protein.

Hooray! has also upgrade its closure to something that is more convenient to open.

In another development, Hooray! has teamed up with PASH to introduce high protein smoothies made with Hooray! Protein Concentrate.

D-Chan Vitamin D Milk in bigger 2L pack, new vitamin D gelato

Premium Miruku Co Ltd has launched the new 2L format for its flagship D-Chan Vitamin D Plain Milk in Thailand. The family pack adds to the current packaging size of 200ml.

D-Chan Vitamin Plain Milk has found an opportunity to supplement inadquate vitamin D intake among Thai consumers through milk. Right now, milk in Thailand is not required to have vitamin D but in some countries like Canada and Sweden, it is mandatory for milk producers to fortify their milk with vitamin D.

The company has also opened a new D-Chan Premium Milk Shop at Central Bangna Branch at B1 where it sells vitamin D-enriched gelato.

Lay’s Thailand new mix-up flavoured chips including Charcoal Grilled Chicken & Somtum

Lay’s Thailand has recently added two new mix-up flavours. The new items include Lay’s 2-in-1 Charcoal Grilled Chicken & Somtum Flavoured Flat Potato Chips and Lay‘s Rock 2 in1 Fried Chicken Wings & Sriracha Sauce Flavoured Ridged Cut Potato Chips.

The PepsiCo snack brand has also launched Max Xtra Crunch Spicy Seafood Salad featuring Thai actor, singer, model, host and entertainer Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree.

Potato Corner in Thailand has launched the new Overload Fries in partnership with Lay’s Max. The fries are loaded with Lay’s Max Double Cheeseburger with the extra crunchy deep ridged chips and Cheeseburger flavour. The Overload Fries are also topped with bacon and cheese sauce.

Hurix’s has recently launched its latest honey product with kurma in Malaysia. The new Hurix’s Madu Kurma was launched to coincide with Ramadan 2023 to help consumers break the fast, while making them stay hydrated and healthy. Hurix’s Madu Kurma is available in individual sachet (15g) or in bigger plastic bottle (175g and 400g).

Carlsberg beats the heat with Somersby Passionfruit and Orange

Carlsberg Singapore has launched the new Somersby Passionfruit and Orange with a special Somersby Wonderful Garden Pop-Up Event. The 12-day event saw the attendance of over 5,000 people and they were served with Somersby Passionfruit and Orange slushie to beat the heat. There were also exclusive merchandise illustrated by local artist Oak and Bindi.

New ete Kimhan Green Mango with Sweet Chili Fish Sauce for the summer season

The new Ete Kimhan Green Mango with Sweet Chili Fish Sauce is priced at THB 25 and is available at 7-Eleven. The brand launched Ete Kimhan Pickled Bao Mango with Chili Salt Sauce for a sour and delicious tasting ice cream in 2021.

ėtė ice cream also has a new lime flavoured sherbet and lime flavoured ice cream for the hot summer months.
