Cool indulgence on a stick, high in vitamin C with probiotics from yoghurt

Singapore, 22 September 2025  –   Sunkist, the undisputed symbol of citrus excellence, unveils the new Sunkist Yoghurt Creamsicle – a refreshing, creamy frozen treat crafted from Sunkist’s signature citrus taste together with smooth yoghurt. As the latest delicious and creamy addition to Sunkist’s ice cream line, the creamsicle is made with the brand’s hallmark quality. The delightful treat delivers an irresistible zest that proves wellness can be delicious. Each stick is high in vitamin C and contains probiotics, offering a delectable pleasure for all who enjoy indulgence with purpose, made delicious.

Nearly a century on, the orange-and-cream pairing – popularised by the classic Creamsicle – remains a forever favourite for its citrus lift and silky cream mouthfeel. Sunkist Yoghurt Creamsicle elevates that timeless profile in a modern yoghurt-based twist, delivering the familiar creamy consistency and refreshing flavour loved by many.

Now available, the Sunkist Yoghurt Creamsicle stick delivers a zesty hit of citrus and a smooth yoghurt finish, making it a bright, creamy pick-me-up for desk breaks, a post-jog cool-down, weekend get-togethers with family and friends, or even after a lively game of pickleball under the sunshine. It serves up feel-good refreshment with purpose – a light, satisfying pause to elevate moments of reprieve.

Take a bite into one straight from the freezer at home, grab it between errands, or make it a deserving reward after a gym class – the lively citrus and velvety yoghurt swirl deliver a cool and ambrosial creamsicle experience that feels like a mini celebration in every bite. Sunkist Yoghurt Creamsicle is real refreshment, and quality citrus you can taste.

Vitamin C – A crucial vitamin

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient that helps build and maintain connective tissues – supporting bone formation, wound healing and healthy gums. It also plays a quiet but essential role in everyday metabolism, including activating folate (vitamin B9), converting cholesterol to bile acids, and helping the body produce serotonin from the amino acid tryptophan. As an antioxidant, vitamin C protects cells from damage caused by free radicals. In the immune system, vitamin C supports normal function and is reported to reduce the severity of allergic reactions and common infections.1

Importance of probiotics

Probiotic yoghurt made with live cultures (such as Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus) may help keep the gut microbiome in balance and support healthy digestion. Emerging research also links regular probiotic yoghurt intake with improved immunity and broader health benefits, including improved bone health and a lower risk of some diseases.2

Sunkist Yoghurt Creamsicle brings a tantalising citrus lift and a smooth yoghurt finish – a creamy pause that fits seamlessly into busy days. A simple promise, delivered the Sunkist way – unmistakable quality taste in every bite.

Sunkist Yoghurt Creamsicle is halal-certified and can be found in 7-Eleven stores and supermarkets in Singapore, with a Recommended Selling Price of S$1.70 for a single stick and S$6.87 for a multipack of four sticks.

Expo highlights quality, innovation and cooperation across the agricultural value chain, strengthening Malaysia’s role as a key partner in China–ASEAN trade

KUALA LUMPUR, 24 September 2025 – Shandong, China’s leading agricultural province, made its debut in Malaysia today under the “Remarkable Shandong” brand, bringing together leading enterprises and premium agricultural products from 16 cities across the province at the “Remarkable Shandong” Agricultural Trade (Malaysia) Expo 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. The Expo, held at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, attracted participation from government agencies, trade associations, and buyers from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and beyond. Distinguished guests, including YBhg. Datuk Azhari Dato’ Shaari, Chairman of the Halal Development Corporation (HDC), joined to witness this milestone in China–Malaysia agricultural cooperation.

As China’s leading agricultural province, Shandong recorded an output value of RMB 1.28 trillion (approximately RM 755 billion) in 2024, with exports of RMB 164.8 billion to over 170 countries. Its garlic, onions, ginger, and fresh produce are long favoured by Malaysian consumers for their quality and familiarity. The Expo highlights Shandong’s strengths while supporting Malaysia’s priorities in food security, diversified imports, and technology exchange, positioning itself as a long-term platform for mutual growth.

With the support of the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), the Expo is jointly hosted by the Shandong Overseas Friendship Association and the Shandong Council for Agricultural Trade, with co-organisation from the Macau Shandong General Association, the Remarkable Shandong Hengqin Brand Globalisation Centre, Shandong Agriculture Group Co., Ltd., the Malaysia-Shandong Province Chamber of Commerce, and the Malaysia-Shandong Province (Qilu) Chamber of Commerce. The event is organised by Guangzhou YIWU International Exhibition Co., Ltd., providing professional execution to ensure its success.

Building a Platform for Agricultural Cooperation

At the opening ceremony, government and business leaders from China and Malaysia gathered to celebrate the launch. “Shandong, known as the ‘Granary and Vegetable Basket of China,’ brings not only premium products and advanced technologies, but also the possibilities of modern agriculture. This Expo is a platform for exchange, innovation, and friendship, and will further deepen collaboration in trade, technology, and sustainable farming for mutual benefit,” said Mr. Liu Chengxu, Second-Level Inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

“China and Malaysia are highly complementary in agriculture. Shandong is a key agricultural province, while Malaysia is a fast-growing ASEAN market. Chinese exports, such as garlic sprouts, lotus roots, and processed products, are well-received here for their quality and competitiveness. This Expo provides a valuable platform to expand collaboration in trade, technology, and supply chains for mutual benefit,” said Mr. Lim Ser Kwee, President of the Federation of Vegetable Farmers Association of Malaysia.

Strategic Agreements to Drive Supply Chain Upgrades

At the opening ceremony, Shandong and Malaysian enterprises signed multiple strategic cooperation agreements across grain and oil, pet food, supply chains, and agri-tech. These included:

  • Goldage Harvest Sdn Bhd with Tengzhou Jiahe Grain and Oil Co., Ltd.
  • BS Pet Products Sdn Bhd with Shandong Huiju Pet Food Co., Ltd.
  • Shandong Provincial Cooperation Chongqing Cadre Management Group with Frespro Sdn Bhd / D’Fresh Sdn Bhd
  • Shandong Ledao Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. with Hai-O Group, DJM Sdn Bhd, and IDG International Development Group Sdn Bhd

These collaborations deepen cooperation in niche sectors while expanding into agri-tech and cross-border supply chains, enhancing product stability and competitiveness and creating new opportunities for Malaysia and ASEAN.

Showcasing, Networking and Matchmaking

Over two days, the Expo presents a rich programme of showcasing, networking, and collaboration. Highlights include a Premium Products Launch introducing Shandong’s signature offerings, one-to-one Procurement Matchmaking Sessions linking Malaysian importers with Shandong suppliers, and the Malaysia–Shandong Agricultural Forum on food security, technology, and regional connectivity. Exhibits span five key categories: fruits and vegetables, grains and dry goods, meat and aquatic products, prepared foods, and agricultural technology, with tasting and sampling sessions offering visitors a first-hand experience of Shandong’s quality and diversity.

Malaysia as a Hub for ASEAN

While rooted in Malaysia, the Expo looks to ASEAN. As a key hub of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Malaysia plays a pivotal role in ensuring supply chain stability and regional distribution. The Expo channels Shandong’s premium products into ASEAN through Malaysia, while creating new opportunities for local businesses. More than an exhibition, it is positioned as a long-term platform to deepen China–Malaysia cooperation in food security, innovation, and sustainability, with plans for future editions across Malaysia and the region.
