Think Fashion, Think THAILAND Be Inspired by “VersaThai”: Top Thai Fashion Brands 2022

Kuala Lumpur, September 12, 2022: Bangkok, Thailand has undoubtedly been recognized as one of the most fashionable cities in the world. With incredible attention placed on design, quality and detail, Thai brands have become highly popular among style enthusiasts in Thailand and the rest of the world. Thailand now has a long list of internationally renowned names in the fashion scene. Fashionistas can fill their wardrobes with the most stylish items, making every street a runway for everyone.

According to Mr. Worawan Wanwil, Director of DITP, “VersaThai fashion showcase, part of Think Fashion Think THAILAND campaign, will display Top Thai Fashion Brands 2022. The key theme of this event is VersaThai, which derives from the word “Versatile” where “changeable” and “mix and match” fashions are available for different lifestyles.” This event is specially brought to you by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Royal Thai Embassy, Malaysia.

This show featured 10 Thai fashion brands with over 80 sophisticatedly designed outfits. They were categorized into 3 Signature styles, namely:

The Dawn of PRIDE featuring Contemporary Thai fashion

We showcase costumes inspired by Thai culture and fabrics of the past. They bring the pride of the past to create inspiration for today’s modern fashion. The designs have a modern cut suitable for a variety of occasions. This signature style will be showcased by designers: Mirah, Vertiaire, and De Quarr Community.

The Shining Happiness featuring Everyday Fashion

Costumes are designed for everyone and for daily use, yet they help to boost confidence, joy and happiness when wearing them. To showcase this signature style, we have designers from Mira, Varithorn, Siri and Shu.

The Bright Future featuring Sustainable Fashion

These costumes are produced with the concept of Sustainable fashion which refers to clothing that are designed, manufactured, distributed and used in ways that are environmentally friendly. Fashion can be used to make a statement in building a sustainable society. This category is showcased by designers: Bwild Isan and Black Sugar, Yano and SC Grand and Circular

A Business networking session is scheduled to provide business opportunities to potential
importers and investors. This will be a huge opportunity to capture the market size of over Ringgit 5 million within this year as the first mover of Thai brands in Malaysia.

Double The Fun For Gamers With Domino’s Pizza, Genshin Impact And UniPin’s Latest Collaboration

Kuala Lumpur, 13th September 2022 – Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore has joined hands with the critically acclaimed open-world adventure role-playing game Genshin Impact and the leading digital entertainment enabler – UniPin for the launch of an exclusive collaboration with collectibles, branded merchandise and unforgettable treats that are up for grabs for Malaysians and the Singapore community. Domino’s customers can look forward to exciting value deals and branded merchandise with this collaboration. Customers can get Genshin Impact collectibles with the launch of Domino’s Pizza Emergency Food Combo.

The collaboration will involve selected Domino’s stores with Genshin Impact-themed decor and a series of roadshows across the nation, lucky draws and social media activities to immerse fans and Domino’s customers giving them a chance to participate in fun activities and contests. Customers and cosplayers alike will be able to take pictures in Domino’s outlets with Genshin Impact branded materials, use hashtags #GenshinImpactxDominos and #DominosEmergencyFoodCombo, enter a lucky draw and get a chance to win UniPin Credits.

Meanwhile roadshows will kick off in Malaysia stores, beginning from Kedah on 16th September, and then followed by nine other states from 17th September to 23rd October. Whereas for Singapore, a full day roadshow on the 8th October will be held in Domino’s Kebun Baru in Singapore. Each roadshow will commence at 12pm and continue to 6pm.

As part of the roadshow, Malaysians will get the opportunity to meet Genshin Impact cosplayers in the Test of Vanity Photo Op, take part in a physical contest; Test Of Strength, and be part of precision activities; Test of Agility. Malaysians will also be able to enjoy many more games and activities as they experience the roadshow like Test of Wits (a thinking activity that includes quizzes, charades and memory matches) and lucky draws to win a variety of giveaways including Genshin Impact merchandise and UniPin Credits. Domino’s will also be offering pizza vouchers at the various roadshow locations.

Hausboom moves into isotonic drink with new BOOM Isotonic Vitamin C

The Malaysian beverage company Hausboom, known for its sparkling real juice drink, has extended into the sports drink category with the launch of BOOM Isotonic Vitamin C. The new vitamin-infused carbonated isotonic drink comes with the choices of White Peach and Watermelon Lychee. The flavours are unique in the isotonic drink category in Malaysia.

Watermelon Lychee contains 300mg/325ml of vitamin C, 18kcal/100ml of energy and 4.5g/100ml of sugar, while White Peach has 300mg/325ml of vitamin C, 18kcal/100ml of energy and 4.6g/100ml of sugar.

They are available at 7-Eleven outlets in Malaysia.

With the entry into isotonic drink, Hausboom now has a beverage portfolio spanning from sparkling real juice drink, carbonated soft drink, energy drink to isotonic drink.

Thai juice producer Tipco has unveiled Tipco C Double Plus vitamin juice drinks in Thailand. They come in pomegranate juice and lemon juice in a 200ml carton format. Both juices contain vitamin A and E imported from Switzerland. The vitamin A and E meets 100% of the Thai RDI.

Sand-M offers sleep and energy functional gummies

Thailand’s herbal medicine producer Sand-M has introduced two new functional gummies – Ener-G Gummy and G’nite Gummy. As the name implies, G’nite Gummy is a gummy that promotes sleep. It contains chamomile, l-theanine, lingzhi mushroom extract and the flavour of kyoho grape.

Ener-G Gummy delivers energy from green tea, ginseng extract, vitamin B6 and B12 and has a lemon flavour.

Gummy is a popular format to provide functional benefits. The launch of G’nite Gummy shows brands are placing a greater interest to innovate with sleep as a functional benefit.

 

Sugar-free Red Bull Halls XS energy drink is a collab with Halls candy

TCP’s Red Bull (KratingDaeng) has partnered with Mondelez’s Halls to launch Red Bull Halls XS energy drink. The new drink is an extension of a previous collaboration between the two brands in the candy segment. The sugar-free energy drinks come in two flavours namely watermelon and metholyptus. This partnership demonstrates how collaboration can go both way.

New Prochiz Sprinkled Cheese and Prochiz Cheese Sauce launched in Indonesia

PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk, the maker of Prochiz, has made available Prochiz Sprinkled Cheese, a new product that can be used to add the richness of cheese into different foods. The company describes Prochiz Sprinkled Cheese as the combination of Prochiz Cheddar Royale that is high in calcium and the tastiness of Prochiz Gold.

Mulia Boga Raya is partnering with other brands from Blue Band to Samyang to encourage users to incorporate Prochiz Sprinkled Cheese into various foods including in instant noodles.
