KIDO’s Bakery offers luxurious mooncakes featuring lobster, crab, shark fin

KIDO’s Bakery in Vietnam is offering premium mooncakes that combine the best of the West and the East. KIDO brings luxurious mooncakes into the next level by using luxurious ingredients such as Canadian crab, Alaskan lobster, abalone, shark fin and Japanese scallop paired with interesting cooking styles. The latest innovations are essentially dishes in mooncake format.

 

Chabaa releases Mixed Fruits with Green Vegetable Juice and other juices

Thai juice producer Chabaa has unveiled three new juice products in Thailand. The latest Mixed Fruits with Purple Vegetable Juice, Mixed Fruits with Green Vegetable Juice, and Vegetable and Mixed Fruit Juice are sold at Makro. The Mixed Fruits with Green Vegetable Juice contains vitamin C to boost the immunity and fibre to help with the digestive system.

MrBeast Burger coming to Malaysia

MrBeast Burger, the American delivery-only fast-food restaurant chain founded and developed by internet personality Jimmy Donaldson, has been spotted in Malaysia, according to KL Foodie. MrBeast Burger is to be prepared at three locations including at the COOX Kitchens facility in the Glo Damansara Mall in Petaling Jaya.

MrBeast Burger listing has appeared on GrabFood but the ordering function is still unavailable at the time of writing.

Here are some of MrBeast Burger’s menu items:

Beast Style (RM 37.38) Smashed crispy double beef patties with house seasoning, American cheese, pickles, diced white onion, mayo, ketchup, and brown mustard on a MrBeast

Chandler Style (RM 33.63): Smashed crispy double beef patties with house seasoning, served plain with American cheese on a MrBeast bun

Chris Style (RM 37.38): Smashed crispy double beef patties with house seasoning, American cheese, beef bacon, topped with crinkle fries, on a MrBeast bun

New Korean Strawberry flavoured Tropicana Slim Low Fat Milk with collagen

Tropicana Slim, the diabetic-friendly solution from Indonesia’s Nutrifood, has launched Tropicana Slim Low Fat Milk Korean Strawberry with collagen. The new low fat milk is fortified with vitamin A, high in calcium, high in fibre with chicory root and without added sugar. The drink helps with the lowering of cholesterol and is good for the skin.

Taisho brings tongkat ali energy drink to Vietnam

Taisho Vietnam has recently introduced a new energy drink made from Tongkat Ali, a herbal remedy popular in parts of Southeast Asia. Tongkat Ali is particularly well known in Malaysia and Taisho has been selling its Taisho Livita Tongkat Ali energy drink in Malaysia for years.

Taisho has brought Lipovitan Tongkat Ali Energy Drink to the Vietnamese market to help restore vitality and to energise quickly.

TiffinLabs and Unilever launch a new virtual restaurant brand serving Asian noodles

Global virtual restaurant group TiffinLabs and foodservice industry giant Unilever have introduced a new virtual restaurant brand in Singapore serving noodles with authentic Asian flavours, according to the press release by Unilever.

The new Noodles on Wheels features an array of mouth-watering noodle dishes influenced by all-time favourite recipes around Asia.

The menu ranges from spicy and zesty Tom Yum of the culture-rich Thailand to famous savoury Korean bibimbap, capturing the essence of Asian flavours. It also features the Japanese Maze Udon with a plant-based twist. The dish with delicious plant-based NoMince meat from The Vegetarian Butcher allows vegetarians and alternative protein lovers to enjoy the authentic taste ‘without sacrificing the taste, texture and tradition of meat classics.

Dairy-free ice cream Coolhaus now in Singapore

California-founded ice cream company Coolhaus, known for its creamy and indulgent animal-free ice cream, launched six flavours in Singapore on 10 August 2022. Coolhaus uses Perfect Day’s animal-free dairy to make its range of delicious lactose-free, animal-free dairy ice cream with flavours including Peanut Butter ‘N Fudge, Mint Chocolate Chip, Molten Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookies ‘N Crème, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

The Urgent Company, the consumer brands subsidiary of Perfect Day, owns Coolhaus.

In Singapore, Coolhaus ice cream can be found at Cold Storage, Giant Hypermarket, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Finest and selected FairPrice Supermarket stores across the island and Redmart for SGD13.95.

OFF FOODS to launch an oat drink, raises USD 1.5 million

Indonesian start-up OFF FOODS aims to launch an oat drink product that will cater to professional cafes and business in Indonesia, according to the company’s press release. The company just bagged USD 1.5 million of fresh funding from Jungle Ventures in August 2022, which adds to the USD 1.7 million raised in a seed funding round led by Alpha JWC Ventures in April 202.

OFF FOODS plans to expand to more cities in Indonesia and invest in its research and development to create more and better products to serve the people of Indonesia.
