Nutrifood launches RTD HiLo Protein Chocofit UHT, HiLo Teen HI PROTEIN Melon with Wordcloud-style nutrition information

Nutrifood Indonesia has launched HiLo Protein Chocofit UHT (190ml) as a high-protein drink with collagen to support the needs of active consumers. The drink contains 12g/serving of protein for muscle maintenance, 500g of collagen for skin health, and 12 vitamins and minerals. HiLo Protein Chocofit also has 43mg of L-carnitine to burn fat and help with weight management. 

HiLo Protein Chocofit, in a ready-to-drink format, provides consumers with an alternative to whey protein shakes with the added benefits of collagen and L-carnitine.

Nutrifood has also released HiLo Choco Malt Hi Calcium in a sachet format. The chocolate milk is high in calcium, low in sugar, and contains ten vitamins. The pack design of HiLo Choco Malt Hi Calcium powerfully communicates calcium as the key product attribute. The use of Wordcloud also effectively communicates the product’s benefits to consumers.

In addition to HiLo Choco Malt Hi Calcium, Nutrifood has launched HiLo Platinum + HMB Improved Formula Vanilla with an improved formula and a new look. HiLo Platinum + HMB is designed for consumers aged 30 and above to provide them with, on a per serving basis, 500mg of HMB, 250mg of glucosamine, 12g of protein, Omega 3 and 6, twelve vitamins and six minerals and fibre to improve strength to prevent muscle loss and to protect bone health. 

The new HiLo Teen HI PROTEIN is high in calcium (600mg/serving) and protein (11g/serving) and is positioned for teens. HiLo Teen HI PROTEIN has an appealing front-of-pack, Wordcloud, illustrative style nutrition information that appeals to the aesthetic of Gen Zs. The company has also given HiLo Teen with a new packaging.

B’lue vitamin-fortified flavoured water now has new lemon flavour

B’lue now comes in a new flavour – lemon. The vitamin-fortified flavored water has vitamins B3, B6, and B12, as well as vitamin C (200% of RDI). B’lue, a product under the joint venture between Sappe and Danone, is focusing on delivering more taste of fun through having more varieties of flavours.

B’lue is not performing in Thailand and this is reflected in the total revenue of Danone Sappe Beverages Company for 2022, which fell 30.08% to THB 109 million from THB 157 million in 2021 (down 32.2% year-on-year from THB 231 million in 2020).

OT refreshes the packaging of OOPS FUGU & FRIENDS and added new flavours

Indonesia’s OT Group has recently launched new products and packaging under OOPS FUGU & FRIENDS for Gen Alpha. The new flavours are Choco Blast and Garlic Butter flavours, while Seaweed and Grilled Lobster have been given a new packaging makeover. OOPS FUGU & FRIENDS are snacks that are baked, not fried. 

 

Garudafood launches traditional snack slondok from Central Java

Indonesia’s Garudafood has found the next inspiration for its snacks in a local snack from Magelang in Central Java province. The Magelang snack, slondok, is made from cassava and is usually thin with an elongated shape. Slondok is popular in Yogyakarta and Central Java.

The new Garuda Slondok is made from selected cassava and comes in the savoury flavours of Balado and Kaldu Ayam. The company launched Garuda Slondok to pay homage to local traditional snacks and upgrade them for modern consumers.

 

Ichitan delivers new Thai milk coffee with salted caramel

Ichitan has digged into the recipe book to unveil its latest RTD Thai milk coffee with the salted caramel flavour in Indonesia. The combination delivers the sweet and savoury sensation of salted caramel with the smooth and creamy taste of Thai milk coffee.

In Malaysia, OldTown launched its Salted Caramel flavoured white coffee in 2022. ZUS Coffee, the Malaysian homegrown coffee chain, unveiled its Signature Mixes of Caffe Latte and Salted Caramel Latte in 2023.

OT Group adds new melon flavour to Panjang Jiwo-infused water

OT Group has added a new melon flavour to Indonesia’s Panjang Jiwo-infused water series. Panjang Jiwo is an infused water made from timun suri, an elongated melon that is a member of the Cucurbitaceae family. The company positions the drink primarily as a larutan penyegar, a healthy beverage to cure body heatiness and symptoms.

Flavour plays an important role in increasing consumer interest in larutan penyegar. Panjang Jiwo has other flavours besides the latest lemon flavor, including the local dessert-inspired coco pandan, aloe vera, and plain. 

Tango Walut wafer range comes in delectable Korean Strawberry, French Vanilla, and Belgian Choco flavours

OT has recently introduced new flavours to its Tango Walut wafer range. Tango Walut has three layers of crunchy wafers with luscious cream covered in smooth chocolate. The new flavours are Korean Strawberry, French Vanilla, and Belgian Choco.

New Frisian Flag Susu Sereal Rasa Kopi to conquer the morning occasion

PT Frisian Flag Indonesia has unveiled Coffee Cereal Flavoured UHT Milk as the range extension to its existing cereal UHT milk with the goodness of cereal. 

Frisian Flag Susu Sereal Rasa Cokelat and the new Rasa Kopi aim to conquer the morning occasion with a healthy option that benefits satiety. The cereals are made from oats, riceberry and brown rice. The dairy drink is a source of calcium, iodine, protein, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin D, A and B complex.

Akasha Wira launches new instant noodles, snacks and gummy including Mujigae by Wonhae Beef Seaweed Ramyun

Indonesia’s Akasha Wira International has unveiled Mujigae by Wonhae Beef Seaweed Ramyun. The new Korean-inspired instant noodles have a beef soup base with seaweed to create a warm, umami hug in every slurp.

The company has also released Wonhae Churros Snack Original coated in a mixture of sugar, chocolate, cinnamon, and Wonhae Churros Snack in Peanut Butter Flavour. 

Among the other new releases by Akasha Wira International include Wonhae Banana Milk Bites, a snack based on Mujigae Banana Milk, and Wonhae Gummy Yoghurt, a gummy with yogurt flavour.
